Wow. The fried chicken is incredible. But the sides, the sides steal the whole show. We got the candied yams, collards, potato salad and Mac and cheese. Each one as better than the next. 10/10 recommend. Mia was an awesome server. The vibe is very relaxed and welcoming. We will be back.
The yams were good, the cabbage might have been better if I had dined in and not had them to go (there was no flavor 🤔),it seemed like it was just steamed cabbage in, and the water wasn't seasoned. At this point, I could be wrong, and if so, GREAT is there only one distributor of fish? The fish I ordered here tasted exactly like the ones I get from the neighborhood chicken and fish spots?! The food is AWESOME. Reminds me of family moments. Service is always spatacular. I don't mind waiting for food that is cooked with love.
