I had never come to this restaurant before and was excited and nervous to try. I was scared for nothing my fineky eating has always been a issue. I had the jollof rice and the spicy spaghetti and wow just wow how perfect was this paring. My 4yd daughter was with me she had the mac n cheese actually finished the while thing lol thats highly unusual for her so that speaks volumes. We each had a corn bread and I swear the flavors made me cry I have never felt more fat but it's insanely delicious. Outstanding customer service the young lady even remember my daughter name. I said my daughters name only 1 time to correct my babygirl for being extra. The lady remembered it and spoke to her by mane it made my daughter so happy. On our way to leaving I had to let them know what an outstanding job they have done. The atmosphere is wonderful, music is family friendly, food is extraordinary, the chef as well as the nice lady at the desk just made me feel at home. Don't taken my words for it drive on down and get you a plate of this fresh, hot, mouthwatering food.
Kid-friendliness: My daughter felt so at home she asked to go hug the nice lady.

The food here is delicious. The greens and fried fish are my favorite. The customer service for the most part is good, but could be better. I will definitely return.

Food was amazing and reasonably priced! Got there shortly after opening and was so happy to see all of the options. It's charged by weight and I paid $30 for 2.15 lbs of food (2 full to go containers) and a homemade juice. Some of the best African food I've had in awhile. Definitely will be back!!

The food is light, well seasoned and always perfectly cooked. There are always several options available and nothing seems to run out.
Vegetarian options: The red black eyed peas and jollof and several veggie options (cabbage, spinach etc)

Just a wonderful authentic place to eat well without the irritation of things that compete with the superb quality of the cuisine and culture.

Went here for ox tail on my birthday. We ended up getting a sampler tray from the buffet as well. For me, the things that really stood out were the Nigerian Jollof, plantains, jerk chicken, and chicken and fish greens. For my wife, it was the plantains, fried chicken wings, curry chicken, and fried trout. So, pretty much everything. XDThe ladies running the place were very sweet and helpful. And the atmosphere was warm, friendly, and inviting. Overall, vit was an excellent choice for a birthday dinner. Thanks!

In the area for a show at the theater. Saw this restaurant and been wanting to try. The food is amazing and so flavorful. You can do the buffet, which I did so I can try a bit of everything. Or order from the menu. The staff is so friendly. Guided meditation through buffet and what goes together. It has veggies and vegan dishes so meets all needs. Love the ginger teas. I got ginger and pineapple. Definitely, check it out your taste buds and tummy will thank you.
Vegetarian options: Clearly label veggie and vegan options.

If you want delicious authentic West African food in Richmond, this is the place. The vibe is friendly. No frills, just genuine. Groove to Afrobeats playing in the background as you dine in or wait for your take-out.

Ordered 2 meals-Entree of Oxtails with Jollof rice and the entree of Chicken spinach egusi with fufu. Also sweet ginger bread and iced sweet potato cake.Portion size was substantial.Finger licking good. Meat tender and all food seasoned with love. Bread and cake moist and just the right sweetness. My first time here and definitely not my last. Yum for the tum.
