Great quality fresh food...been here twice now. Five and Dime is my favorite. They actually do a great job getting good food out quickly. They also have a wonderful staff. Definitely will be back often.

Eli is so amazing and polite. We had a pretty large order, and he got everything right.
Ok, so now the food is soooooo amazing and delicious!!!! Everything my family had no flaws, came out fast and was still hot!
The manager Cory was so accommodating. I have several allergies, which include corn, and he checked to make sure everything I ordered was safe to eat.
The smash browns with pepper jelly fire. And these new autumn waffles they have are so decadent like a dessert. This place is a must try.
Needless to say I will keep coming back!!
Ps food was so good I didn't even get a chance to take a pic.

Came in here with my partner, Robin was very kind and sociable. The atmosphere is filled with kindness. It made me remember what southern hospitality is. Not plastic-fake-happy, just genuine kindness. Great biscuits as well, the jam is jammin!

No idea why this isn't rated higher. The food is delicious, it's nice and clean inside with WiFi, and the people are very pleasant. There's much worse you can do for cafes/breakfast around here.

A happy kitchen produces good food! I love hearing the laughter from the kitchen! The food was great and the hash browns are fantastic. The service matches the atmosphere! I was headed to River City Diner but chose this place instead as I am on a time crunch ! I ordered Togo but ended up eating at the restaurant. This will be my quick go to for sure !

It was super pricey. The only service is the people cooking your food. Be prepared to serve yourself. We won't be going back.

Food good...but pricey. The biggest downside is how LONG it takes. This is my 3rd visit. I understand it's made to order, but so is River City Diner and I have never waited so long. 30 minutes for a couple of loaded biscuits and the dining room was full of people waiting...and no one eating. They've had over a year...I hoped they would have worked out a system by now. Food was pretty good but country fried steak was very tough.

This was my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last. The Five and Dime biscuit was delicious. Note to all future customers: This is not a fast food restaurant. All the orders are made from scratch. Believe me, the meal is definitely worth the wait.

First and LAST time for this place. Plenty of staff and no one interested in helping customers. We waited five minutes behind one customer to place our order because two employees were having a lively conversation at the other open register and couldn't take the time to take our order. We ordered a Five and Dime and a Grits Bowl that took 25 minutes to come out of the kitchen. Just so you know, we arrived after the breakfast/lunch rush so the kitchen was not slammed. The food was disgusting. The restaurant was not clean. None of the empty tables were clean. We counted six employees standing around chatting and not working. One customer had six plates of food to take to his table and the two employees standing behind the counter let him walk multiple times to take the dishes to his table instead of helping him. The prices do not reflect that this is a 100% customer-does-it-all restaurant. I don't see how anyone would want to make a second trip to this sorry place.

We originally discovered this restaurant in Orlando and were very excited to find it in Virginia. We detour our trips to include stopping there.
I am a huge fan of the squawking goat biscuit.
My husband and son alternate between the Thunderbird and chicken strip baskets.
Fresh squeezed OJ is excellent.
Overall a nice breakfast or lunch stop that we always hit when in the area.

Good food slow service! I was the only customer in the store at 7:05 and didn't walk out until 7:20. I wasn't informed until after waiting 10 mins that there wasn't any fried chicken ready that's why it was taking so long. I wish I would have known that information before ordering so I could have gotten something different.
