I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent visit to this restaurant was extremely disappointing. When we sat down, we were given silverware that was visibly dirty. it was wrapped in the napkin like it was clean but clearly had old beans on it. When we got our cups there was a bug floating in it. My sister had already drank some before we noticed it. The second cup we got had slime black stuff in it that we pulled out with a straw. I really hope this place takes this review seriously and addresses these hygienic issues, because no customer should have to experience that.

I refuse to eat here after hearing this place is the reason one of my favorite establishments got raided and shut down temporarily (Papi's nightclub) . I believe it was a homophobic attack and I refuse to give services to a place that would discriminate in such a way. That goes to show you if they will discriminate because of that who knows who else may be unfairly treated due to disrespectful prejudice views
The fresh blackberry margarita was great. There was even some dry ice in there for a spooky Halloween effect. The salsa had amazing flavor. Food was good! Will definitely go back for the margaritas alone.

Sat at the bar for drinks and ordered a fajita salad. Don’t know if i would order one again, but the chicken on it was well-seasoned so I’m open to trying more on my next visit. As we were preparing to leave, they let us try one of the festive drinks they were working on at the bar, which was delicious. Good selection of tequilas, including some I’ve only been able to purchase in Mexico

Very good food, music way too loud. Plastic silverware hard to eat with.
Food was great and it was cold
Kind of over priced honestly
More catered to the “instagram” crowd if you catch my drift

Burrito was decent. But holy moly those tortilla chips were awful. How do you mess up tortilla chips?? Couldn't even finish 1/3 of the serving.

My fajita was delicious! My server was great. I even got to practice my Spanish a little bit.
However, I thought they had salsa dancing on Thursdays but they didn’t. I was disappointed about that. They had karaoke instead but it wasn’t really karaoke. We sang along to the actual song instead an instrumental track and there was no screen to read the words. We had to hold a tablet. The dj was very cool so that made it better but that wasn’t karaoke.
Still giving 5 stars because we had a great time and my food was wonderful.

The owner came out and spoke with us. Had some very good food and drinks close to the Canal walk downtown. We ate inside, and they are doing so well that they are expanding and opening next door. Great atmosphere and outside dining for nice days as well. Definitely check this place out!

Awful service, mediocre food at best and quite overpriced overall.
Walked in for their “Taco Tuesday” to a nearly empty restaurant - not a great first impression. After ordering (queso dip, a few tacos, plantains and a frozen margarita) I waited over 30 mins and I had to remind them about the drink and was responded with a sigh and a shrug. Food came out and another 5 mins later the drink finally arrived. The chicken and steak tacos were really unsubstantial and consisted of tiny little pieces of overcooked meat with day old dried up onions and cilantro on top.
Came in with pretty medium expectations and I was honestly surprised how bad it was. I get that restaurants have bad days, but at the very least I expected the staff to be nicer and not to shrug me off when I gently reminded them I had ordered a drink.

The food is absolutely fantastic. The first time I came here I got the tacos al pastor and they were phenomenal. The second time I came I got the quesabirria and it was absolutely succulent. The portion sizes are excellent, despite getting three tacos you also get a big dish of rice and beans. The quesadillas however are absolutely HUGE. The drinks are also out of this world. All of the fresh fruit margaritas are to die for. And if you ever want to imagine you are on a tropical island, order the Coco Loco margarita, you won't regret it. (If Maria is working, order a strawberry long Island iced tea.) The decor is very pleasing to the eye. The decorations are very tasteful and fit the theme of the restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and make great conversation. They are also very attentive and I never had to sit long with an empty glass. Don't save this place for Taco Tuesday or Thirsty Thursday. If I could I'd come here every night. Come out and show Miguel and his staff some love and enjoy the best Mexican food and margaritas you'll ever have!
