This place was incredible, the private space was amazing, the tasting was so well thought out, and our entire group had a blast. Bonus points: they have gluten free options.

Wanted the ribeye and ended up with ribs. According to the server, the quality wasn't what the chef wanted so he wouldn't serve them. Took a little while to get the food, there were 9 in our party, but it was DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT...Now the grits, a no-go, thick and al dente. Cornbread was so-so, if it was hot, it may have been a winner. Mac and cheese..Yes!! The star of the show, the smoked wings and the blue cheese it comes with....Hands down the best!!

Shockingly good. Amazing whiskey selection, and the ribeye was incredible. Do not let the mall location fool you - this place is wonderful. Great food, great service, top notch bourbon.

Beautiful bar with a tremendous selection. Great smoked wings! Knowledgeable and friendly staff! I met the owner and he was very down to earth!
Pours can get pricey, but I can’t justify knocking a star off because I don’t go out too often… and if you want something rare, there’s a good chance it’s here! Highly recommend.

Mac was extremely kind, I loved everything about this gentleman! He was so sweet and considerate and helpful when my children came for dinner. When my kids became antsy and decided it was time to just not listen (2 year old and 6 year old) he came over to the table and just made the evening better, he also put in the kids order first, without even having to ask, I’ve never had such an amazing server until tonight! Food was on point, the Mac and cheese is to die for, and for the fries he offered me this ketchup with a little spice to it, I had to order it (you can get it off Amazon, it’s Heinz habanero ketchup $3) also the bathroom signs were cute too! 10/10 would definitely come back! Oh he even gave the kids a race car 🏎️

Went into this place and ordered a BBQ sandwich, when asked if they had any sauce the owner said no with an attitude because this was an authentic bbq restaurant not to mention it was horrible. I’ve been to almost every BBQ restaurant in Richmond and every single one of them offer some sort of sauces to choose from. They only thing they had to put on the bbq was siracha hot sauce. The rest of the menu was catered to people that are into fruity salads, tofu and cali flower crusted pizza lol. He must make money off the whiskey because it can’t be the food. Def wouldn’t recommend.

No way to say enough good things! The food was PHENOMENAL!! The fries, brussles, kale, mac and cheese....! Mac, the owner, made us feel super welcome, even with two kiddos and a service dog in tow. The vibe was great, super cool aesthetic, music wasn't deafening, and overall wonderful experience. We will be back!!!

Not sure why it took me so long to share a review, but this place is top notch. Food is amazing, whisky selection is amazing, everything is a great value, and the owner and crew provide great hospitality as well as expert guidance on the extensive offerings. In a growing sea of franchises and chains, this and the Fan location too are locally owned places you can count on for a great experience. Had 3 generations at the table, including teens, and everyone had a great time.

Mac, my friend and I are the customers you posted about yesterday, and you know that’s not what happened. First of all, you interrupted a private conversation with your customer, and you got it wrong. Actually, we were complimenting on the nice big tables and were fully aware it was a table for five. You know when I asked for a Dr. Pepper, instead of saying I’m sorry we don’t carry it, you went into a condescending rant about you never working at a restaurant in your life that served Dr. Pepper. Then you even bragged that you were the owner. You lied in your post about how I responded. You also know that I responded saying oh darn. We were first time customers who live in the area and were trying the restaurant out to see how it was. Had we been satisfied, we would have been regular customers! I will tell you that I have never had such bad customer service anywhere in my life. You should be embarrassed about posting negative interactions you have with customers. Also, I’m sad that you, the customers in the restaurant, and your friends thought it was so funny. You are obviously unprofessional and very immature.

Great food and service, Mack was there late night and talked at length about various topics including the history of the Richmond bar/nightlife/concert scene of the 90s and 2000s. He is a walking and talking history book full of knowledge. Will be back!
