This place was delicious! I got a vegetarian spring roll and a bowl of Pho Tai and it was fantastic. The place was hopping on the inside and it seemed like a place that locals know to go to since the food would be good. Pricing was good too!

Really good food and good prices but, very crowded and loud on Sundays. Will review again on a weekday.

We have gone here previously and were invited to a Mensa Christmas outing at Mekong. It was wonderful one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant. they serve six different items at the table and all were exceptional!

Decent craft beer spot with massive Asian food menu. Cantillon on draft is all you need to know, but it does feel a bit like a cheap Asian restaurant.

We frequently come here when in the area. It’s just a solid Vietnamese restaurant. We had the shrimp fried rice and the rice noodle bowl with pork and crispy egg roll. The service is prompt and friendly.

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing, the beer and bourbon selection is next level. The service and treatment you get here is top notch. I love this place. Phillip behind the bar is really s great guy. I'm new here to Richmond and felt right at home. This is one of my favorite spots in Richmond. You can't go wrong with any of the food selections or beer/bourbon. This is my most visited place since moving here recently. I bring any family visiting here as well. I'll keep coming back and will recommend anyone to come here.

One of our favorite and most frequented restaurants in town!! We’ve tried many things on their massive menu and these are our favorites:
Grilled pork chop (Com Suon Nuong)
Clay pot catfish (Ca Kho Toh)
Soft & crispy rolls, crispy pork rolls, soft rolls, alllll the rolls

I had Do Bien Xao To, a seafood and vegetable dish. It was delicious. The beer selection is phenomenal. There is such a diverse offerings of many styles. With my meal, I had Quetsche de Fermier from Side Project, a wine barrel fermented saison aged with plums, lovely.

I haven’t been here in 2 years. The man at the front register recognized me and said, “haven’t seen you in a while!” Hospitality, service, food quality, beer, and bourbon have only gotten better. Quy, I miss seeing you here and the love and light you brought to this place and to the world. Thank you Mekong for this beautiful reminder of why I was inevitably drawn to the restaurant and service industry. We gain and lose restaurants, we lose people we love and babies are born. Time inexorably marches on for the creative-disaster that is Richmond. Mekong is the metronome.

Even though this is a large restaurant, Mekong can get very busy. You're better off for lunch than dinner if you want to get in quickly without a wait. The food is very good, and it's efficiently run; it also has a very large menu of authentic Vietnamese food. Appetizers are full-sized dishes. It's worth the experience.
