Excellent service at this location (11621 w broad st)!! We walked in at 8:54 not realizing they closed at 9. The man at the hostess stand was super nice and pleasant. Even with them closing so soon he was willing to seat us and allow us to enjoy our meal. The waiter was super nice as well. He brought us chips and salsa and took our order quickly. The food was prepared in a timely fashion as well. Would definitely come back to this location for a meal!

My husband and I always went to another Mexican restaurant but we decided to give Mexico a shot. It was amazing. I got the Pollo Chipotle and it was perfect. I usually finish my dinner, but I have a really good portion of leftovers and I can’t wait to eat them. This will be our new go to spot.

Looking for a quick bite near Rockler and decided to try Mexico Restaurant. Great weather so we sat on the side patio. Started with house Margherita, salsa, and fresh guac (which was excellent.) Taco portions were generous and tasty, and the tequila lime salad was refreshing. Everything timed well and Luis did a wonderful job tending to our table - I liked how they all worked together. We will certainly be back when shopping in Short Pump.

I would not say the resturant was bad but the food was terrible, dry, tasteless. ambiance and menu looks attracting but after first bite i bet you will regret and will not come back again. Instead go in a smaller resturant and eat better food. quantity was less and no taste. Bette go alone first time and then decide that do you want your friends and family also to suffer with the horrible taste.

Have had issues with this place lately. Order a burrito mexico recently and it supposed to have chicken in it. Received something completely different woth pork in it. I dont eat pork for religious reasons.
I have been a weekly customer of the Short Pump Mexico for over 30 years. I LOVE this place, but in the last year, something has changed and not for the better. The salsa is still the best, but about 6 months ago, the chips started tasting like old grease and the bag when I get take out is almost translucent with grease. Last week my wife and I came in for dinner and I ordered a Fajita Quesadilla. It was not edible. Opening up the tortilla revealed the ingredients were swimming in a lake of grease. My wife has had similar experiences the last few times here. I don't know if they changed cooks or the management no longer takes pride in the quality of their food, but after 30 years, we may not be coming back. There are too many other better Mexican restaurants in the area. It's a shame.

i cant speak of the inside service to this restaurant as i ordered grub hub . So my review would be on the food . This is our place of choice to eat . The quality of the food is always fresh and hot. We like the street tacos, nachos and a host of other things to offer. The spirits is very good as well.
