I pass by this location to go 30 mins out the way teo another. This mission has gone downhill. Especially quality of the food. I don't think all the employees know you have an option between 'lean' or 'moist' brisket, I mean ppl are human and miss the mark sometimes, but when it's EVERYTIME I go to this location I give up. The ice was cold though, I give em that.

It's mid for its price.
The bbq was dry with not much seasoning. But they do provide with 6 different BBQ sauce on the table! Which helped with the flavoring a bit.
It was $21 for three different protein choices, $28 with a side and drink.
Not really worth the price tag imo

They catered my super bowl party. It was delicious. I think some of their sauces are rather spicy, but most are delicious. The beef brisket hasn't been as good the past 2 times I ordered it, not sure why the quality has changed.

Good food, right on time, not pretentious, and provides good warmth for the soul. What better hope could you have for a place than to have your entire soul satisfied.

Who ever heard of a bbq restaurant that ran out of brisket. Amazing. I am 100% disabled vet and I won’t go again.

what a great restaurant, and very friendly staff. after driving for 12 hours, my son and I walked in at 8:45 (9pm closing). we ordered ribs, one with fries, one with mac n cheese. the food and service was excellent, definitely recommend this restaurant. would love to come back to try other items on the menu, some were understandably sold out when we came in.
Mission BBQ is a fantastic spot for BBQ lovers. The brisket is tender and packed with flavor, and the fries are absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the pulled pork was a bit on the dry side. One of the highlights is the wide selection of sauces available to customize your meal. The interior has a great service-tribute vibe, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The portion sizes could be a bit larger, and the cornbread didn’t impress—it was a bit dry and lacking moisture, though it does come with the meal. Plenty of seating and parking.

I come here pretty often, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back anymore. Never has a restaurant tried to gaslight me like they did this time.
I always drop by for the prime rib black plate - it’s always nicely cooked to a bright pink medium rare. Today, I received what is clearly an overcooked, well done ribeye. When I asked an employee about it, she said that’s just how it comes out, as it’s been sitting for 3 hours and cited the fact that the smoker is at 125 degrees. A steak doesn’t become magically overcooked if you don’t raise the temperature above 125. Clearly it sat at well above that for some period of time. Additionally, I usually come at the same time, and out of the many times I’ve ordered the ribeye black plate over the years, they’ve never shown up on my plate like this.
Either way - even if it did end up like this naturally and she didn’t try to gaslight me into thinking this isn’t an overcooked steak, she should’ve at least offered a refund. Quality control is the bare minimum.
Super friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious bbq- fresh, moist, tasty! Great variety of sauces to top off the entrees.
I will definitely be back the next time I’m here in town.

Came in from out of town, tried it on a recommendation from a family member — talk about southern hospitality! The service was 10/10, our kid threw a plastic fork on the floor and before we could pick it up one of their staff dropped off a fork at our table and said “looked like you might need a new one!” With a smile.
The vibe is everything good about the south — values, veterans, and taking CARE of their people.

What happen to this place? Ordered a brisket sandwich to go. When i got home i noticed that almost my entire sandwich was deckel fat... you know the un edible fat between the flat and the point. Weighed everything too because it looked short on weight. Weighed approximately 1/3 of a lb for a $15 sandwich unfortunately 1.5 oz was un edible which turned my sandwich in to only 1/4 lb. Bread was actually stale and rock hard and mac and cheese is different than it use to be and was not very good either. Over all one of the worst lunch experience ive ever had for $20 i feel i was 100% ripped off and don't think I'll ever be back which is sad because this place use to be good. Pic 1 original sandwich amount, pic 2 with fat removed, pic 3 all the straight fat not meat i removed.

Good BBQ, wide variety sauces, varied menu selection, awesome customer service. Decor and ambiance geared toward those that serve, military & first responders. Everyday at noon they stop and have the national anthem.
