A true staple in the heart of Carytown Richmond. We have been coming to this place for over 25 years and it never disappoints. Many selections of bread and bakery items and a select menu of sandwiches. They also sell craft jams.
I haven’t visited their physical location, but I bought some of their snickerdoodle cookies from Ware neck produce this weekend and they are some of the best I’ve ever had. The cookies are somehow thin, but still chewy at the same time. Amazing quality.
The good people at Montana Gold always, always prepare the BEST sandwiches. The chicken salad on challah with horseradish & cucumbers is my go to. SUCH a treat. I was in today to grab a gift certificate & needed a little extra assistance. They didn’t miss a beat & got me set up. Thank you all for being a a fantastic neighborhood source of food for the soul & for providing an environment where you can come as you are. You can’t beat beautifully crafted bread.
