I owned my own bakery for 8 years and am very picky about baked goods. Moe's is really good! I have no problem popping in to get her cupcakes because they are baked well, always tender, and highly consistent. ? Glad that I don't have to always make my own.
After reviewing a couple of places I decided on Moe's bakery I was excited because it was my birthday yesterday so I was looking forward to my cupcakes everything was okay at first and even though I smelled a strong smell of either fabuloso or Pine-Sol when I walked in I didn't think nothing of it as I was about to enjoy my cupcakes after dinner I open the box in a box smelled like Pine-Sol or fabuloso and the cupcake actually had a taste of it as well I called immediately in the young lady who actually helped me hung up and was rude after me asking who can I speak to in this situation because this is really unacceptable and now they will not answer my call and nobody has responded to my email I didn't want to have to make this a review but nobody has reached out and this actually happened on my birthday I am livid and beyond upset

The girl who helped me was so friendly. The store was very clean, it had a strong fabuloso scent which I love. However, I am not sure if it absorbed into the cardboard box for the cupcakes or the cupcake wrappers but as soon as I opened the cupcakes when I brought them to my fiancé, we could immediately smell the fabuloso. I don’t think any cleaner probably came into contact with these, it was just the smell that must have permeated into the paper products. I also don’t know if this is because I came later in the day, but the cupcakes were VERY dry. I still might come back and try the macarons.
