Please tell me you aren't closed down permanently. I have seriously had some of the best seafood I've ever had here, with enormous serving sizes too. Always had fresh ceviche and their octopus was always so fresh and delicious. Truly a gem of Richmond. Truly underrated and sad to see it close.

Was in search of a new seafood restaurant and glad I found them. FYI they specialize in octopus as a cuisine but offer other items as well. The food was so good I personally thanked the chef. My new little spot

One of my favorite places to eat in Richmond. Extensive menu. Everything I’ve tried there is awesome. The ceviche tostada and fish tacos are incredibly good. When I get a craving for these I have to go there ASAP! Good beer selection and great margaritas. Very highly recommended!

All around exceptional value given the low prices. Never a wait for a table. Food is above average with a lot of variety, and the margaritas are great too!

First time here. Food was amazing, portions big, excellent flavors, and cooked to perfection! Full bar and beers on tap. Service was excellent, friendly, and attentive. A hidden Richmond gem! Adding Mr. Pulpo's to our regular rotation!

This place is great. I had the chef's special grilled octopus with grilled veggies and plantains and my wife had the tostades especiales, both were excellent. The octopus was perfectly cooked and the sauce was a spicy umami delight. Don't let the prices turn you off, you definitely get your money's worth. Highly recommend.

We visited this restaurant for the name and previous ratings. If you put pulpo in your name, we expect you can back that up. And they did. We had the ceveche tostados octopus appetizer, octopus and mahi entrées. All exceeded my expectations.The vegetables were perfectly prepared. The salsa was balanced and exceptional. Even the rice was also better than most anywhere I've been at a similar price point.Add this restaurant to your list.

Great service, best margaritas in the city. The menu is great, but incredible seafood is the real star. Best octopus in the city.

Very authentic little place. Perfect for a date or a night out with the boys. We had the pleasure to have Juan as our server. Very charismatic and made great recommendations. Next time I'm in Richmond I'm going here

Unironically the best meal I’ve had in a restaurant, our server Juan was super nice even through limited English skills and offered to take a picture for us, very nice man. Really good spicy margaritas

This is an amazing restaurant that is locally owned. The food is great is it priced very fair. I have to say the it is one of the best one's around the Rva area. I highly recommend this place! Muy bien la comida!

The lemon garlic octopus is a top 5 RVA meal for me, but the whole menu is stellar-- 10/10 every time. Love you guys!
