This place has been on my radar for some time and was finally able to visit. Small little shop on the backside of a strip of other small businesses. Lady greeted me and was such a help, being my first time ans and took the time to explain all the items on the menu and the specials of the day. Food looked remarkable and tasted even better. This place is worth the trip if you are in the Richmond Metro area.

Spent $40 for 2 people which is a little steep for me, but the food was amazing! Very fresh tasting, and the flavors were on point. The owner was very friendly, and ordering was really easy. You even had a freezer option to take home and heat up yourself if staying there to eat wasn't in your plans.

The bichota and la paisita arepa were absolutely delicious. The red sauce is great. Perfect spice. White sauce was good - it comes with the arepas but the red was my favorite. We got 3 empanadas the veggie, chicken and rva. My boyfriend liked all 3. Customer service was great. The place was small but had seating. Plenty of parking. We also got the blackberry juice and the passion fruit . Delicious. Will definitely be back.

Staff was extremely friendly! Grabbed some takeout- Spinach & Cheese Empanadas, Alfajor, and Cheese Pupusa. Great variety! I will have to return to try some of the other empanada options. Yum! If you're looking for authenticity, this is the place to go.
having just come from a place where empanadas were abundant and exceptional, we were looking for the same here. However, met with severe disappointment upon biting into just one of our beef and chicken empanadas. The flavor is just not there. The seasoning is just not there and quite frankly there was no seasoning. Very disappointed especially since it had 4.9 stars.

We ordered the Arepa La Shakira from Uber Eats & it was spectacular! Perfect ratio of cheese, sauce, & meat. The food arrived on time and was enjoyed while still warm. I was happy they were open early, as we had to leave for the airport by 10AM, and we had placed the order at 9AM. Grateful for their early hours!
