Its a must....!!! Its my first time in and the energy and vibe from start to finish was excellent. The gentleman I spoke with, whom I assume operate the business has plenty and information and option to feel the belly. And let's not forget about the cook. The food looks amazing, can't wait to eat

All they had were chicken wings however, they did find me one small breast that was good. The wings were small and dry but my brother claims he goes for the fries. ?

First time here and food was good and tasty. The chicken and rice was way too spicy for me and I couldn't eat it all. I tried though cause it was so good. Will definitely be coming back!

Definitely the way it used to be back in the day. The one down the street from where I live in highland Park has been piss poor in every area of service and quality food. Go to this one.

I order the chicken over rice with salad with a special dressing. I liked it and will return to that place. I couldn't try other dishes because they have calories. I chose the chicken over rice with salad because it was a healthy choice for me .

The restaurant is on Jefferson Davis highway Route 1 next to Mr Submarine.

Don’t let the neighborhood discourage you!! Don’t let the outside fool you!! Don’t let the clients inside or even the workers change your mind!! You HAVE to try this place!!! The food was AMAZING!! I had to drive 15 min and pay a toll to get here but it was worth it!! I regret nothing!! Based off of the other reviews and pictures I bought the chicken and lamb rice. It was so good I thought I was going to cry! I do not like tomatoes or cucumbers, but I ate them this time with that wonderful white sauce they put on it!! Another review mentioned the sauce has a twang but it’s very slight and more than likely from Greek yogurt. The sauce perfectly compliments the heavier seasoning of the rice and meats and the salad with the cucumber and tomatoes is a welcome palate cleanse. My cousin lives nearby (read 20 minutes) and I WILL be making my way back here frequently. P.S. get the peach watermelon faygo soda, the drink comes with the food. You’re welcome.
