Nino's Italian Delight Subs & Pizza Express

Since this location is inside the mall I thought it would be pretty well maintained. There was one older guy running everything, soda machine was out and he only offered canned drinks which wasn’t an issue as he had a good selection.
The old gentleman working was hard of hearing and I felt like I needed to yell.
We wanted the two slice special and the sub special.
But I guess they didn’t have one special anymore. We got rang up for the two slice special but he said they don’t have a sub special even tho it was on the sign outside and the sign next to him at the register.

The pizza was good.
They were out of steak so we couldn’t get the Philly.
I got the Italian- but the tomatoes , lettuce was bad, as well as the salami, and I didn’t get the pepperoni on there.
I ended up sharing the two slices and going to the Lyras Organic kitchen right across from him.

I didn’t even ask for a refund just because he was working alone, it’s clear the resturant is struggling, and I didn’t want to have to deal with having to yell to talk to him as I don’t feel that’s right.

He was a sweet man so hopefully business picks up so they have the money to get fresh items.

Until then I probably won’t be eating there again

Spent 35$ ordered online and waited 30 minutes before my order was confirmed and then another 25 minutes before it was cooked. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza that was OK not great and then a turkey sub. The sub was soggy and poorly assembled and mind you I was there waiting the whole time. The person working could only work on one order at a time before taking any more orders and told you to sit and wait 15 minutes before he would even take your order. My experience was not enjoyable or worth the money spent. As well as the restaurant was not clean to the point the Parmesan shakers had mold in them and the case where food is kept looks grungy. The store inside is not upkept as it should be and I will not be returning or recommend it. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

Placed online order through their website during normal business hours (Friday at noon) and arrived at the restaurant with the doors locked. Phone number to the restaurant does not work. 24 hours later, I received an email saying my order was ready. No ability to speak to restaurant over the phone and request a refund. Very disappointed.

Put an online order that wasn't ready after 20 minutes. Arrived and person working didn't even acknowledge me. Once my sub was ready he forgot to drop the fries. Couldn't give me a refund since system was done. Total mess of an establishment. Overall not a good experience and would not recommend

They keep there dough in trash bags in the back. They also use slices already cooked from DAYS before until it looks bad or feels bad. Same with the ingredients like olives, mushrooms, ect. Even if he drops it on the floor if no one is looking They will pick it up and put it on your pizza. Now what goes on behind in the back with the refrigerators back there is.of course rotted food that will probably be put on your pizza as long as it doesn't look bad. If you actually want something fresh go somewhere else or order the pizza but WATCH HIM make it.EDIT* PLACE HAS BEEN GOING OUT OF BUSINESS HE DOESN'T HAVE MONEY TO KEEP RESUPPLYING THE FOOD NO ONE WILL EAT BECAUSE ITS NOT FRESH ANYWAY. SO ITS A LOSE LOSE FOR HIM

OK I'm going to start off I really enjoy this place and the Atmosphere of the place the guy behind the counter was very nice though his English wasn't great we ordered half cheese half pepperoni large pizza for 14$ which I think is a fair price and we really enjoyed the pizza we are from north Richmond and will definitely be stopping by here when we're in the area and hungry 10/10 would recommend thanks for the amazing lunch yall

Was told that the only pizza for sale was slices of cheese pizza that were obviously made at least a day before. The guy told me they have no dough, cheese, or pepperoni. There's a reason this place is always empty.

Was in the area of Stony Point for workDecided to try this place, meat lover pizza was $17 for a medium, I asked for no meatballs, and they charged me $20.Wasn't that good of a pizza, restaurant was tired and gross looking.Won't be back!

Been here twice for pizza. It's OK, and better than some other pizza places I've been to in Midlothian. This is despite overhearing the owner or manager talking about the sauce starting to go off, but not wanting to throw away yet. Do agree with other reviews that interior could be renovated. Service was good and place seemed clean.

So I'll start with I am a pizza snob, coming from NY originally. This pizza was not good. Plus it was too expensive for what it was, the lunch special is overpriced. The sidewalk sign is unreadable, maybe that should have been a sign for me to skip this place.Way too much ice in the coke, no idea if there were free refills, but with only one guy working there and a few shoppers in line, getting a refill would be tough anyway. Soda machines are behind the counter. Oh, and they were out of coke.On the plus side, the counter guy was nice.Good little kid pizza I'm sure after parents dragging their kids around the mall, but not for me.

Dirty, only had cheese slices. The man currently running the store is hearing impaired and yelled the entire time, none of the tables were clean. The place was just overall disgusting. It needs a major cleaning and interior overhaul.
