I admit that I slept on this place when it first opened. I was expecting a lower price point and more "bar food" and instead it's authentic/elevated Japanese and worth every dollar. The menu changes all the time so you can always try something new.
This place is peak capitalism. Food is meh. No refills on fountain sodas . Small portions. Mediocre taste. Great presentation but that’s it. I’m sure the fresh college grads will love spending 12 dollars on two meatballs.
Update: looked like a one-time fluke. Have been back twice now, and everything was great
