We've been regulars at this restaurant for several years, but unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly. I placed my order around 11:30 AM when the restaurant was completely empty, yet it still took nearly 30 minutes for just two dishes. The host was noticeably unfriendly and unprofessional. Our food was served on a tray with large white stains that looked unsanitary, possibly moldy. Despite the lack of other customers, flies were hovering around our table throughout the meal. To top it off, we found a hair in the seafood noodle soup just as we were finishing. Sadly, this experience has made it clear that we won’t be returning.

This place has the best Bulgogi I've had sense living in Richmond VA. And the vegetable dumplings are very tasty as well. Can't wait to check them out again. The prices are a little high, but so worth it!

Such a unique vibe since it’s inside the grocery store- but like another reviewer said, that doesn’t take away from the quality and taste of the food! My husband got the Jjajang myun, I got the beef bulgogi, and we split the veggie dumplings. I was blown away by how flavorful and delicious the food was and thought the pricing was fair for the amount we got. The service was also great and the table was clean so we will absolutely be returning!!!

The food is so good and more to be expected from a much more formal restaurant. Being an eatery inside a grocery store does not detract from the fabulous culinary options. The only negative is the lack of drink options.
Pork Tangsuyuk, lightly fried pork strips with a drizzle of sauce is well complimented by the peppers, onions, and the side of kimchi and other condiments. The sauce is not your typical Chinese sweet and sour, but a Korean version that is darker and more savory. Quite delicious, but without the rice, can be a little too umami or salty.
The Bulgogi, a stir-fried marinated beef with sweet peppers, onions, and carrots has excellent flavor with very tender beef and slight crisp to the vegetables.
They have a really good variety of dishes, already planning to try more when we come back for more international groceries.

Great food! Everything tasted hot and fresh, laid back dining for a price you can’t beat inside New Grand Mart.

I get take out quite often from Noodles and Friends. Usually getting the kimchi jjigae and jjajang myun. The portions are quite large, maybe about 2 servings each. Service is quite fast too, I’ll call in an order and the time they give is pretty accurate, about 15-20

I ordered 우거지갈비탕. The price has been almost doubled since the reopening and the quality sucked. There were about 5 pieces of meat and instead of using 우거지 or 시래기 they used fresh Cabbage. It was very disappointing. The soup tasted like instant Ramen soup. Won't ordering from there anymore.

Parking: They need to fix the parking lot where the carts stay. The wind moved the whole thing so it occupies 1 and half car space.

Richmond really lacks a good Korean food scene and to be honest if you’re looking for quick service or takeout Korean this is the best place to in the area

Overpriced, and they are ‘out’ of many things. Truly, probably because the non-Korean staff just can’t make them. How can this even be? The restaurant is LITERALLY inside of an Asian supermarket!!! We spent $50 on 3 meals and no appetizers - with no banchan included! I have a distinct feeling that this one of two locations is run nothing like the other one.
