Nota Bene has a great vegan menu that I highly recommend. There are a good amount of choices and they seem to be adding more every time I check. The vegan tiramisu was a great dessert. I also liked the vegan artichoke sub and vegan mushroom pizza. Keep up the great work during COVID Nota Bene!

I'd give 2.5 stars for the pizza. Had been looking forward to trying this place for a while and finally went last night for some margherita pizza with my sis. Paid $36 for pizza we both noticed was overly salted and the crust was burnt. Flavor of pizza was just ok :(

Me and my boyfriend decided to come here for pizza after seeing online they offered vegan options. We got the vegan mushroom pizza, which was so good we ended up eating it in the parking lot before we got home and ordered another a few minutes later! Also picked the vegan tiramisu and the peach freezie, both were delicious! If you're vegan and looking for some great pizza, this is the place to go!

OH MY GAWD BECKY. They've started focusing on take out and we bought three sammies for a Friday night smorgasbord and are blown away. So delicious on so many fronts. The Heirloom Tomato is huge and juicy and delish. The fried Artichoke is amazing. The Italian is premium. All around amazing food.

I'm always amazed at all the delicious dishes, tasty food, great cocktails and outstanding service. The atmosphere is so cozy, and I love how their bread is made in-house (you can really tell the difference). I've probably had all their pizzas many times over, so now I will try whatever new pasta dish is on the menu and whatever is on special. The staff and service is top notch; very frierndly, polite and welcoming.Cannot recommend more highly, you'll love everything about this dining experience!

I'd never been to Nota Bene when things were normal, and I regret that now. But during this crazy Covid time, someone posted a pic on FB of their softshell crab sandwich and it looked amazing. I'm picky about softshell crabs, I like them cleaned with none of that yellow stuff. And theirs are perfect. I've now ordered and picked it up twice and it is indeed amazing. It's a big, fried softshell crab on a brioche bun with some sauce and red cabbage slaw with tater tots on the side. Get it while it's in season, it's worth it.

Nota Bene is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Richmond. Actually, one of my favorite restaurants period. The food is delicious, and the service is warm and welcoming. It's a great place to have a fancy date, or just a casual meal at the bar. Always happily full and pleased with my experience every time I eat here.
For my wife’s birthday we always do Italian food. We decided to go away for her birthday so we ended up in Richmond. Found this place and it had good reviews so we checked it out.

Cute little spot in shockoe bottom. Very limited menu so if you have dietary restrictions please check the menu before you go. Overall service was just ok but the quality of the food was great.

I ordered white bolognese and it was amazing eventho portion wasn’t filling and I felt I needed a lot more to feel stuffed. My wife ordered this branzino and it was super aesthetically pleasing and can’t comment on fish taste since I don’t like seafood specially fish.

A top tier restaurant in downtown richmond. Relaxed ambiance and the service was phenomenal. Even the cocktail was on point! We ordered the pizza and the Bolognese dish and it was gone within five minutes. Definitely recommend for a date night, as it is little smaller, more personal setting. Cheers!
