Im a loyal customer and have come here for many years. The dummies and tuna mac is one of my favs. Of late the food stock has declined and the price keeps soring. There been at least two price hikes in the past 6 months. The once appreciated loyality program no longer exist and it really needs to be in place especially when a take out dish of one entree and 2 sides cost 25.00 a person. I really enjoy this place but will have to limit my visits because they gotten to pricey.

The young lady who took my order was so unprofessional and was so busy talking and having a conversation that she got my order completely wrong.

Visited today and they didn’t have about 90 PERCENT of their meat replacement options.Basically meaning, we all had very limited choice of what entree we could get.Not to mention, the cashier didn’t have the best attitude; she seemed incredibly annoyed, the restaurant had only been open about 20 minutes when we arrived so seemed a little early in the day to be acting like that toward customers. We all grabbed a dessert from the counter (which added an additional $20 to our bill) and they were all stale and stiff, like they’d been left sitting over multiple days. We threw away more than half of what we ordered. $70 spent and the last time I’ll be going. Very disappointing as many family and friends give them business.

The Richmond does not have good management because either they are out of the most popular food items or like yesterday the food has been sitting out to long on the heating table or in the case of the cakes , they have been sitting in a warm area and can be subject to mold or spoilage. Lastly the recipe for the Mac and cheese was clearly not followed because the Mac and cheese was mushy and liquidity. The first staff tried to argue that it was creamy and my thoughts were no it was disgusting. I wanted something different. They gave me sweet potatoes. Everything on the hearing tables looked dry except for the greens. I paid $61.00 and couldn’t eat most of the food because of recipe changes or poor food quality. DC is always on point but Richmond needs better leadership

The service here is so terrible you would assume it was McDonald’s they hired a rude girl name Mariah and made her manager and she’s such a kid she doesn’t know anything about helping customers I wish the manager would contact me for this terrible experience

I got mac and "cheese", bbq tofu, and jerk "chicken". The portion sizes were very fair for the price and the food was delicious!

One of the first vegan spots I tried in Richmond. I always get the "Mac n cheese" and yams and am never disappointed. It's never been busy inside when we've eaten inside but lots of to-go orders. Could be a little cleaner at the tables or people could just clean after themselves lol

Everything is amazing. I take vegans and non-vegans alike here and everyone leaves happy. I especially loved the “chicken” and collard greens. Tasted like my grandma’s greens and she used ham!

Honestly, Nuvegan has just lost the spice it use too. I use to enjoy going and getting great vegan food, now the environment just isn't as inviting, and the prices are astronomical. This most recent time, the Mac and cheese and the chicken was harder/crispier then normal, it just doesn't feel as if they put the effort they use too. I loved NuVegan, but just can't do it anymore. Isn't really what it used to be. Still amazing food, just not the same restaurant.
