After reading all the great reviews, I wanted to check this place out... and I wasn't disappointed! It's a quaint, little onigiri shop with a very friendly & welcoming atmosphere. There are so many Japanese touches everywhere for those eating inside at their limited seating & those ordering to go. The selection was simple - mostly Japanese rice balls with various types of fillings for everyone to find something you'd like. I highly recommend the spicy tuna if you can handle some spice, but two onigiri are just right to be filling for a simple lunch. I can't wait to stop by for some more rice balls the next time I'm in the area!

The staff here is so sweet! The onigiri they serve is a great size for the price and every flavor I have tried has been tasty. The spicy tuna is the best :)

A great little quick service place selling onigiri/rice balls, Japanese bottled and canned drinks and snacks. I got the salmon and the spicy tuna, and the price is good for the size of them and amount of filling. The spicy tuna is nice and spicy!

My husband and I came to get us a taste of being back in Japan. The staff was super courteous and helpful, even offering to warm our onigiri up. We ended up getting 3 onigiri (spicy tuna, salmon, and karage), 2 sauces, and 2 ramune drinks for about $28. Super delicious! The decor was super cute with anime playing on the TV. Will absolutely be back.

Real authentic Japanese Onigiri. Onigiri are Japanese rice balls, often triangular or cylindrical, made from steamed rice and typically wrapped in nori (seaweed). They are a popular, portable snack or meal, featuring various savory fillings like salted salmon, tuna, or pickled plum (umeboshi). Onigiri are a staple in Japanese cuisine, found in convenience stores, supermarkets, and specialty shops, and are also a common component of bento boxes.

This little shop was an absolute treat to visit. We happened to walk up right as they were closing and they were still nice enough to serve us. We got several of the flavors they offer and the walnut miso and the spicy tuna were our favorites. This will become a regular stop for us when we go to and from Richmond. Amazing people and even more amazing food!!

The shop is really cute! It's tucked away by the Lotte Market on Broad St, but definitely worth checking out. It has authentic onigiri with a Japanese convenience store vibe!
We stopped in for some lunch and the food was really filling and tasty! It's definitely great for those on a budget too. I'm recommending it to all of my friends 🧡
