I have stayed at the Holiday Inn next door once a month for years. Tonight I just wanted something quick, I asked the front desk clerk if O'Charley's was any good and he said it was that he liked their chicken fingers. That should have been my first clue, but even average food would have made me happy I did not want to drive anywhere this evening. Well, I sat at the bar after waiting several minutes at the hostess stand and no one paying any attention. The bartender, had three people at the bar before I arrived and she did not seem capable of handling that rush. I get a menu and ordered the cajun chicken pasta and the potato soup. The soup was to be an appetizer and after 15 minutes I asked if the soup was coming out as an app or with the entree. Bartender tells me well she can go back and get it but she is busy. So eventually she goes and gets it, large chunks of potato too large to eat in a single bite covered in tons of thick cheese with some type of pork bits on top. Not bad but really just tons of melted cheese with hardly any flavor at all, then the entree comes out about 10 minutes later and I would say is the worst meal I can remember, no flavor at all and I left 75% of it on my plate and started looking for the bill. That took another 20 minutes meanwhile another two people show up and the lady sitting next to me actually asked me if anyone was working the bar. I said yes but they were really slow and the food was horrible. This was my first and last time ever eating at this place.

I should have read the reviews before I ordered. I ordered the catfish meal and like one of the reviewers stated it was more like catfish tenders/pieces. The order size doesn't come close to the pictures or what you would expect for a $15 meal. Not to mention the catfish had no taste to it and the fries were soggy. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I won't be coming back.

O'Charley's experience was fabulousI am visiting in Richmond Virginia and we had a very fantastic waitress name Kelly and she was just awesome. We really enjoyed our selves. We need more waitresses like Kelly she really know how to make the customers feel welcome. Hire more like her and your restaurants will be greater. Good customer service is what people are coming back for and good food and we received both. Thank you and your team.???Kid-friendliness: Everything was just great. We had a party of 4 and we had the ribs ,fish,twice baked potatoes and a variety of other items +drinks.

Ordered to go and the meal was ready when they said it would be and was delicious. Perfectly done steak (me) and salmon (my wife), and the asparagus was superbly done. I had a great baked potato, my wife the smashed sweet potato - both excellent. The wait staff was courteous and friendly and efficient. Well worth the visit.

We used to dine here frequently, but based on the deteriorating food quality and service which we encountered at lunch today I regret that this will mark our last visit.1) slow service with no welcome or mention of menu specials2). asked for rolls which never arrived3) finally caught her eye to have a drink refilled4). garden salad was clearly dated…wilted lettuce, withered cucumber slices, definite dull slimy shine etc. Refused salad and server stated that they are made fresh daily. I said of course it wasn’t and she finally said that “I didn’t make it”. I said, but you saw it before you served it to me. Why ?5). never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything elseI had the crab cake dinner and my wife had the California chicken salad. I should note that there were few patrons in the restaurant.

I am thoroughly disappointed every time I visit this location. The service is beyond disgusting and the wait is always ridiculous. Today I waited almost an hour for my food… the server came over only once in between to ask was I okay… when someone else received their food after me, I questioned where was mine… I received a short response that it was cooking… a few minutes later, she returned to tell me that my steak was burnt… after spending my entire lunch break waiting only to have to wait longer, I decided to pay for my drink and just leave.. the server informed the manager that I Did not want the food remade, they offered a food credit but I informed that it was my last time coming to this location. The subpar food and service has become their norm and I refuse to continue wasting my time and money

We arrived for a late lunch and were seated promptly. The waitress warned us that they were short staffed but would do the best they could. Our food arrived a little slowly but was very good. We ordered desserts and they were comped by the staff because of the slowness. Good customer relations. First time ever there. I will go back.

Understaffed...they shouldn't have been seating people. It took forever to take our order. My husband finally went to the bar to get his own beer. We waited an hour and a half for our food and still only two of three of us got any. We asked for the manager. She came out from the kitchen. She had been cooking . She offered no apologies. We tossed a $25 gift card on the table and left. The bill probably should have been around $50. Will never go back to that location!!!

I was seeing tiher tables get them but not us.Also the chicken fingers I received where very tough and not as good as they usually are. Not to mention they completely forgot my aunt's chicken fingers and fries! She had to wait for fries to be done!I really used to enjoy coming here. I gave it a 2 because although the service was painfully slow everyone was nice and respectful.

Wish there was a rating for 0. This was definitely the worst ocharleys I have ever ever eaten at. The restaurant was filthy the service was very slow. The server brought out there bread and butter with no plates, no silverware, and no drinks. Then had to find someone at the bar to get me those items. My meal never came out and my husbands meal, the Cajun pasta, was cold. Like refrigerator cold. Never ever again o'charleys. Get your stuff together and maybe we would try again but definitely not this location. Btw...this used to be our favorite chain. So very sad.

Got here 7:00 on a Wednesday night. It took 15 minutes for a hostess to come by and seat us. Waitress was from the bar and was pretty much absent for most of the meal. She was not busy and she only had a few patrons. It took forever for our food to come out. There were maybe 10 groups of people in the restaurant so it wasn't busy at all. The atmosphere was just so sad. It was the opposite of lively. You would find more cheer in a graveyard. Food was okay but not worth the wait.

I've never eaten from this location and will never again. Last minute decision that I horribly regret. I ordered the catfish dinner w/fries and coleslaw. I paid $14 for fries. I didn't get a whole pc of catfish.... more like catfish nugget pieces.Giving 1 star is for my husband's pasta dinner being okay. A total waste of money.
