My company uses Olio for almost all of our work lunches. So I have tried every sandwich on the menu... and I haven't had any I would choose to try again. The bread is so dry and powdery it gets everywhere, and it seems like that's most of the sandwich. On one sandwich the mozzarella was dry and rubbery, on another the greens were wilted and stinky. Even the cookies I have gotten recently were bad...I ordered a Caesar salad once, because how can you mess that up? It has ONE piece of chicken and no croutons. It was just greens, dressing and some cheese. I was starving for the rest of the day and super disappointed.
Food: 1
The food was really good when the new location first opened, but who knows if it still is? I have tried to order three days in a row and cannot get anyone to answer the phone. When I try to order online, the website malfunctions and says my designated time is taken by the time I get halfway through placing my order. I'd love to try it again, but it's just not worth the hassle to order when you can't even get the food at the lunch hour.
it’s closed tried going by at 2 on a saturday
If I could give zero stars I would. Worst Italian sandwich I've ever head. How is turkey and apple considered Italian. Tried the roast beef too and not much better.

The food is great, but beware of takeout. We ordered through their site directly, they canceled the order and the refund was less than we paid, so we have to contact Menuify to try and correct that. The delivery is via Doordarsh and the dasher had showed up at the restaurant and there was no order so his time was wasted. I ended up getting contacted 5 times from doordash attempting to cancel the order that was placed directly from their site, so we didn't have a doordash order number. Overall quite the waste of time and effort from several parties. We attempted to call Olio during this but they didn't answer their phones.
Everything I have tried here has been great, service is great, I try something different every time I stop by.
AWESOME food and service
This is my all time favorite sandwich shop, I love all the sandwiches. Thing is, I haven't had one for years, since they were on Main Street and are now only open for 4-5 hours a day and closed all weekend. With hours like that, I wonder how an employee can even afford to work here, much less how they get stedy clientle.

Stopped by on a rainy Thursday where Olio is mostly deserted. Order a reuben for $11. A bit on the small side, it tasted decent. The venue is clean and homey, much of a local deli setting for the fan/college town crowds. High rent may have contributed to the cost, which is more and more of the norm these days. Maybe it's just me getting old.
Ordered delivery. Out of husbands sandwich. Didn’t include sandwich in delivery. Didn’t call. Our lovely delivery person called Olio to tell them they forgot a sandwich. All Olio said was “we are out and closing” Cool. Good to know one of us doesn’t get lunch or even a phone call.
My favorite club in Richmond.
AWESOME food and service
Excellent. That's been my experience with OLIO. The food is excellent, my wife, daughter, family members, co-workers and patrons all have a excellent rating for OLIO. I've been to 3 locations, the original on Main Street (Now Branch & Vine) one on Franklin Street and the latest location on Cary Street in the Fan. They have really tasty sandwiches and sides. They accommodate almost any palette, from Vegan to Carnivore with healthy and delicious offerings. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverage selection usually covers a wide variety of off the beaten path thirst quenching bottles and cans. Try OLIO once and you may become a regular happy customer!
