Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Went to place an order to go and there were 4 staff members at the front and they could not help take an order. They were not doing anything but talking. Was told that someone would come out and take my order so I waited nothing. Again staff was coming in and out still nobody acknowledged me. So I walked out.

Very good service and atmosphere. The food overall was very good but their trademark complimentary salad was not as expected. The dressing did not taste like it usually does. Not sure what changed with the salad dressing, but it was not what we usually get from the Olive Garden franchise.

The young lady at the front desk was amazing. Her name was Reagan and she was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so good at getting people seated efficiently and was truly a dear! I would go back again just for her!

Olive Garden is my favorite place for Italian cuisine. Not so much anymore. Spent $70 on take home dinner. Ordered the chicken parm for my wife and I got home to find it was chicken Alfredo instead. Pasta fagoli is not good as it used to be. I don't get chicken enyoki anymore because it's not the same either. Haven't been to OG in months. Now I know why. Never went to Never ending Pasta. Definitely falling down the list of places I really enjoy.

Overall, food was typical Olive Garden experience. Got the never-ending pasta first portion was huge. Other portions were smaller in size. Pictures included of each bowl of pasta. Overall I thought all were cooked great and tasted delicious.

I was however, not impressed with the service at all. I had to wait a very, very long time to be served originally and never really got checked up on the whole entire meal and experience. I’m not going to blast the server name out here but what I thought was going to be a relatively quick dinner turned into a long experience. I was by myself, and a group of six was behind me and got service. Much faster than I did.

On West Broad Street and Lauderdale (Kroger Super Store 23233) , opposite the Short Pump Town Center. (NOTE: Much better food (and usually no wait time),than Maggiano's at the Short Pump Town Center, Henrico, VA.)

Enjoyed a workplace reunion there today. The 2 servers did a good job handling a large group. Only hiccup was that we did not specify that separate cks were needed. Took extra time to split the cks.

Food has really gone down hill for sure. To be honest, not sure if the chicken we had was real or some processed meat products. It was not good either way!
