No one greeted us or let us know where to sit. The same happened to the couple that came in after us. We sat ourselves and were ignored by the staff. While waiting for service, I observed two employees behind the bar not wearing masks. At that point we just left without being served.

09-17-2020Absolutely horrible experience. From the restaurant to the delivery driver, Patrick (Chop Chip RVA)that demanded I show him my ID upon me greeting him and introducing myself. How else would I know there was an order to be delivered here? He walks up the stairs barely looks at my ID and instead of placing the food in my hand he places it on the ground in the rain. This was my first time ordering from On The Rox and I will never do it again. So I ordered the wings which were not fully cooked, chicken tenders and fries for my kids which was ok and a mimosa kit that advertised a bottle of champagne, TWO BOTTLES of orange juice and a GLASS. They took it upon them self to send me used bottle of 64 FL oz bottle of orange juice that literally had barely a cup of juice in it with two plastic cups. Not only is this unsanitary but it’s unprofessional on every level for a licensed dood establishment to give a customer a beverage that has been used and tampered with. I will be contacting the Health department and USDA Meat and Poultry to file a complaint. I completely wasted my hard earned money and time on this place. Then I call there restaurant to ask them why they sent it the individual that answered said they don’t have individually bottles juice and they ran out of tops to place it in a cup. Very nice!!!!They only reason for the 1 star is because I had to select a star toleave this review but they don’t even deserve that.

I went to On the ROX last Sunday(9/6/20) and had a horrible experience. The waitress was less than enthusiastic about being there, and every time that we would ask for anything it seemed as though we were inconveniencing her. When we asked to speak to the manager which I’m not exactly sure was the manager, possibly the kitchen manager; he was wearing an apron-he was just as rude as her.

5 stars! From the chef to the owner and bartender all wonderful people and great service! Food is always on point! Been here multiple times brunch, night out , bar crawls etc . Did I mention the food is great!?! Brisket is a must try

Food was good but drinks subpar. Asked the bartender if he could change the channel (we are 2 of 5 people dining) and he said no.

The bar is amazing, the bartenders are very attentive and the food is perfection. Great atmosphere and they play good music all day. Also, bottomless mimosas!!!!!!!!!
Went today to support a small business and celebrate and early father's day and my husband's birthday. There were 4 of us. 1 son asked for a medium well burger-received rare one. 1 son asked for french toast-had liquid egg in the middle and my chicken and waffles was actually raw int he middle. The boys made due. I sent mine back while the others ate some of theirs. The waitress comes back with a new plate for me. I cut it in half and it was still not cooked so after flagging her down my husband asked for the manager. A man came over, not very apologetic, didn't really seem to care at all and ended up taking it off our bill. So spent $73 for 3 out of 4 meals to be undercooked. We will not be back.

Came for a paint night and was pleasantly surprised! The service was on point and well organized for the party size. Even better was the food. I'm pretty particular about fries, and these rocked my world.
