So, I wasn't going to write a review about my experience, but as of today I haven't rec'd anything back regarding my complaint. I went there on 11/29/2016 for my birthday to enjoy brunch with my best friend, but I experienced some delay and encountered some problems.

Tried it today 7/16, after reading the other reviews and basically not wanting to eat at a chain. It's located inside a community/Rec center and you sign in to go there. It's a good counter but the people are very friendly. I got the crab cake sandwich (which is definitely fried, not grilled) and it was very good. I am. It a fan of fried food it enjoyed the sandwich very much. I also got a limeade which was Delish. They make it with fresh limes as you order. This is definitely soul food, fried and yummy.

I love coming here for a Tuesday fish boat special! The food is amazing and really friendly faces. They know my order when I come and always ask about my family to keep in touch. I usually do to go but they have an area to eat in that's shared with the rest of the facility. Don't be discouraged that it is located inside of a community center it is worth every cent! The location use to be a croaked spot if you are familiar with that restaurant but the food is very similar with better prices.

Awesome food!! Location is weird, being in a church and all but the people are very friendly. Lots to choose from on the menu. I ordered the fish platter with Mac and cheese and corn on the cob and it came with w corn muffin. All excellent. My husband ordered the crab cake sandwich with fries and potato salad. Again everything was awesome!! I would recommend ordering the limeade. It is homemade and very delicious. There is a sitting area for dining in and they also have the take out option. Hidden gem!!

Due to some confusion with the previous name I'm posting this here with the 'new' name as well: Let's get some things straight; you have to sign in to an unmarked building that has huge basketball court surrounded by some offices or classrooms just to get to the cafe. It's super weird and I'm pretty sure it's some sort of community church or at least a place with deep religious overtones. The food is fantastic, but all serious fried soul food. If you want that sort of food this place is top notch. It's also worth mentioning that the quantity was plentiful, you won't be hungry after eating here. So, if you can find it, and are in the mood for some fried fish (or fried anything for that matter) this place is great. It's also worth noting that nearly everything else in the area food quality wise is pointless which helps me justify a five star rating.

Located in the rec center on dill Rd. You have to sign in to go to the restaurant that is not so much a restaurant as a food counter.. There is no sign to identify the restaurant outside the building. They are supposed to be affiliated with croaker spot. Food and prices don't add up. Your paying like your sitting down at a quality restaurant but your in a concession stand at a gym. Some people might like it but not my cup of tea. The food was ok but for the price and location you just don't get enough.
