I like the fact that there food is made from fresh vegetables and the meat is prepared right there.

Love the food...
I ordered a bowl of the new crispy sesame shrimp and beef with half chow mein, half super greens. The portion of chow mein/super greens seemed to be more than usual; perhaps to make up for the foolishness that I was about to experience. I noticed that the young lady was intentionally scooping out a few pieces of shrimp/beef to put on my bowl, instead of just scooping out normal spoonfuls. Then another lady (I’m assuming a manager) said something to her and she threw away the bowl she made. She then made another with an even smaller portion of shrimp/beef, purposefully counting it out. Mind you this is a premium entree so costs extra. I asked them if I’m paying extra why is the portion smaller than a regular entree. The manager said the entree is 3 shrimp and 4 pieces of beef. That is crazy to me! I don’t know if that is specific to this location or if it’s all Pandas but that is crazy. And the fact that you’d rather throw a whole bowl away rather than give a customer a bowl with “too much.” Neither did you give me much of the greens beans or any of the red peppers that are a part of the dish while you were counting out the portion. I don’t have to get that entree ever again.
People are goated, portions are goated (not like the chipotle which sucks) , and everything is great . 10/10 best spot near library

The store manager Yin was extremely rude when I asked for a refund. She kept cutting me off when I was asking questions and was selling fountain drinks when the soda dispenser did not work. Jamela who was the cashier was also rude when I was asking for public information and had a very nasty attitude towards me. I simply wanted a refund for the drink but in order to receive one Yin told me that I would have to refund my entire meal and would not be able to finish my already half eaten meal that I paid for. Very disappointed in the service and how I was treated by the staff. I do not recommend eating there. There was trash on the tables and unclean surfaces. Again they will sell you fountain drinks knowing it doesn’t work and tell you that your watered down drink is only refundable if you refund your entire meal.

Had a bad first experience, but the chow mein and most of the stir fry and entrees are very good.

So far the worst panda express I visited. This store closes at 8 pm and we went for dine in at 7 pm. Noodles not available, shrimps not available, teriyaki chicken available only for 2 orders, steak not available, hot orange chicken not available. Ask for anything the person serving says, it's closing time despite one hour for closing. Also the rice that's available is cold and lumps. Horrible experience I ever had. Also for the $50 spent the cashier denied to issue me points. Also on the bill it says grubhub but not the store bill directly. Will never visit and would not recommend others to visit for the arrogance service.

This store should not be closing at 8 during the summer, like they are acting like this panda is only for vcu and that their are others in the area

First time at a Panda Express. I am not disappointed. The food tasted great! I husband and we had our 2 year old, so I missed getting a picture of the actual food. Both my guys enjoyed as well. I would visit Panda Express again after this experience. This location was calm during the time we came.

This was my 1st time trying Panda Express. It was busy due to it being lunchtime, but the line moved quickly. I ordered the honey sesame chicken with fried rice, pleased with my order.
