The owners are so kind and their coffee is great. I love Parousia for the atmosphere, you can tell that the workers love their jobs and enjoy talking to customers. Walking in and seeing everyone's smiling faces make me happier and more positive. A great place to study, read a book, or have a chat!

Hands down best coffee in Scott’s. Coffee cake was delicious, more like a cinnamon roll. I pass four other big name coffee shops to walk here, and it’s worth it each time! Try it!!

Underrated coffee shop!

The coffee is amazing. Both the pour over and the latte my wife got. The Earl gray syrup was good and the price was really fair.

The space was also really nice. Good seating inside and in my opinion aesthetically pleasing.

Stop for breakfast and coffee. Tiktok reminded me to go again. It's a nice tucked away spot and go to work remote
The breakfast sandwich was amazing and I would order it every day

Parousia is so good that it even gives Afterglow a run for it’s money

My wife got a vanilla latte and a coffee cake, I tried both and they were very good. I got a decaf espresso with oatmilk and it tasted very sour, could not drink it.

Probably the best coffee in RVA. Friendly staff, relaxing setting. I got the oat maple pecan latte. Plus they use ceramic mugs not paper! Highly recommended.

Decent coffee not the best cappuccino I have ever had by any means. It was to cold and not strong even with the extra shot I had to add because they only have 1 shot 1 size with their cappuccinos. The establishment itself is modern but to sterile for my liking. Parking was a little annoying and took a couple attempts. Customer service was friendly enough however the barista talked really fast and told me about how they only add one type of shot, it was a name I never heard of so I inquired about it in which see took the opportunity to talk even faster and it came across a bit condescending. She said they di a 30/40, I also did not know what she was referring to and the same fast “lesson” was given but this time followed up with attempting to explain to me what a latte was. I just wanted a cappuccino..prob would not come back.

Could be best caramel latte in Richmond

Ok Parousia has really good coffee I would give it’s quality 5 stars. The 2 stars is for the lovely young ladies that are bestie baristas that laugh and joke around all the time while making coffee and find it ok while making customers wait. This has happened many times. For one I don’t like people laughing over my drink and 2nd it’s very rude, especially when you’re so into your conversation you spill my drink while making it that another barista has to step in to remake my drink because I’ve been waiting so long. It’s a relaxed environment true, but those young ladies have to remember they are at work.

Guys!!!!! If you want delicious espresso and unique house made syrups you’ve gotta give this place a try!

Had an earl grey latte yesterday 10/10.
Like a London fog but add espresso. And the flavor profile was top notch.

The guys working the counter were kind and engaging. The atmosphere is minimalist but also cozy.

You’re gonna love it!

It’s surrounded by a bunch of industrial car wreck lots so it’s a bit of a strange spot. We got the seasonal horchata coffee which was interesting. However, it was a bit too sweet and also too dark at the same time. I’m sure the regular coffee is good and the vibes in there were nice and bright
