Food was amazing. Very loud group was there and made it hard to hear. Server was a bit pretentious and seemed annoyed having to serve us.

Finding ourselves together on a Sunday night without dog and family, we ventured out to find somewhere cozy to eat and ended up at Patrick Henry's Pub and Grill. It was lovely inside as only a truly historic structure can be, and the staff on duty did everything she could to make us happy, including customizing the veggie pizza to make it a vegan (very good). We ended with a tour of the oudoor space covered by the spread of a truly enourmous ginko tree. If you haven't been there and are looking for something authentic, venture forth to Church Hill and visit Patrick Henry's Pub and Grill. We will be back.
Vegetarian options: falafel, veggie pizza, and a few other items.

I've visited Patrick Henry's Pub and Grill several times, for meetings of a discussion group. I've always enjoyed their friendly staff, updated but unspoiled old building, their wonderful food with local connections, and they'll even serve me 50/50 pineapple and grapefruit juice.
We stay for a couple hours. It gets busy, but they still have room for us in a good spot.
We ordered 9 draft beers and 2 cokes. Our tab was $112.50 before tip. Being a dive bar with 11 dollar simple drafts is insane and someone should AVOID this as it is absurd for any bar. A 6 pack of the beers we were drinking is the same cost as ONE BEER on draft. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Neat unassuming pub. Good place for out of towners to stop in for some local flavor. Didn't expect much from the outside, almost didn't go in but glad I did. Head downstairs for the pub. Good selection of food an and drinks.

Patrick Henry’s has the charm, ambiance, , and cooking that puts other Richmond pubs to shame. This pub is criminally underrated and should have a line down the block. Visit this wonderful place!

I discovered this place about one month ago. The atmosphere is great and they have a good outdoor patio. The Patrick Henry burger is delicious. I have to admit that’s all I’ve eaten the four times that I’ve been there. The service has been good so far. Highly recommend checking this place out for an evening.
