We had dinner with our pup on the lovely patio. Very chill atmosphere eating under the trees and umbrellas that ensure shade even on warm afternoons. Full bar and a nice beer list, good quality pub food with something for all tastes.

Service was attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended!

Had a great visit with my pups. I'm stuck on keto, but they have an amazing gf pizza here and Ibordered supreme. They brought water bowls for the dogs and service was stellar. The ambiance was great w natural shade all over the patio. Atmosphere was great! This is a gem--can't wait to go inside when I'm not w my dogs. 5 stars!

My wife and I just walked out of Patrick Henry Pub and took our business to Liberty Public House solely because of the shockingly rude treatment we received from the upstairs bartender — a brunette woman currently working behind the upstairs bar (as of May 8th around 5:30 PM).

We walked in and politely explained it was our first time there and we were just checking the place out. The space is a bit confusing with multiple levels and a patio, so I asked a simple, reasonable question: “Where’s the patio?” Her response? “Where do you think it is?”

Excuse me?! That’s the kind of condescending tone and attitude you might expect from a DMV worker having a bad day — not someone in the hospitality business. We were stunned. Never in my life have I been met with such hostility and sarcasm from someone whose literal job is to be welcoming and helpful.

We were planning to stay for a couple drinks and some food — likely spending around $80–$100. Instead, we left immediately and spent that money elsewhere. And trust me, we weren’t the only people in there looking bewildered by her demeanor.

If management cares at all about guest experience, they seriously need to reevaluate who they’re putting behind the bar. That one interaction cost you not just a visit, but any future business from us — and anyone we share this story with.

There are too many great spots in Richmond to waste time being mistreated at this one.

Just visiting Richmond for the weekend and this pub was recommended. The food was fantastic, they had great local beer options, and our server Brittney was spectacular! Very friendly and had great recommendations for what to try from the menu.

Stopped by with a friend and had the very good Patrick Henry Burger! Only one server was on the floor, but she handled everything in a timely manner. Will certainly be back!

This is definitely a good three-star place. I love the old vibes in it. The food was good just nothing to write home about I had the vegetable pizza. Your selection and whiskey selection is mediocre. Staff was friendly no issues. Food is good.

Cool little spot to grab a drink it’s a little hidden in a neighborhood but once find you might make it your regular drinking spot
