This place is horrible. Overpriced and everything just wasn't good and it didn't go together. Like presentation looks nice but flavor was bland. Will never come back here. Don't waste your money and time.

Food was very mediocre at best. Only good thing my partner and I had were the cocktails and dessert. Starters and entrees were not good. They did give us free dessert at least and took the overcooked dish off the bill.

Great food and service everything is made fresh daily. I love the ambiance here too It's very modern and open you can see the kitchen.

One star for the food which wasn't bad, one star for the crappy tipping policy. They add 18% to your bill. Look Perch, if you need to raise your prices to be able to pay your servers and other workers a living wage, then have the balls to do that. Hiding an 18% price hike in small print at the bottom of the menu is dishonest. And if your business dries up because you raised prices, then it wasn't a viable business in the first place and you should close. Trying to maintain your business by keeping prices low, and then sneaking in a price hike at the end and having your servers be the one to communicate this to the customer says volumes about your sucky management style. I gave you three chances, never going back.

Perch provides very good meals and their staff was friendly. The prices are a little high, but it is certainly worth the occasional visit. Parking can be a little difficult.

Waitress was extremely friendly. Food was spectacular! They brought us out a fried plantain with stuff on it as we waited for our food. Restaurant was full and food came quickly.

Highly recommend this place! We went here for dinner and met the chef! He's very nice and made us feel welcome! Their fresh Pandesal was superb!!! I can't remember what we ordered but it was all delish!! Oh something octopus or grilled calamari! The drinks was good too! It was a nice dinner spot!

Six of us went for dinner here on a Friday evening. It is a very modern setting with a parking lot on the side of the restaurant. There are some very interesting cocktail options- i had a bourbon and rye mixture with some bitters and infused with pepper.. it was very good! $14 The menu is fairly limited and it apparently rotates what is on it. We had an appetizer with pimento cheese crab dip which was very good. My wife had a seafood mixture entree and I had a white fish over some rice type of mixture. They were good but for the cost the serving size was small. My fish was about 1.5" x 5 " for 35$. Very good and flavorful but small. The waiter was ok. They forgot one side order for two of the people and for another couple the pre entree salad came out after the main meal came. ALso, they add a 20% tip on for you... I was very glad to try it.... but think it may be a while before I return.

Freaking spectacular! Original innovative flavor combinations. Attention to detail: from the height of the walls, to the plating, to the hand blown glass lighting fixtures. The doors open up to the lanai bringing the fresh outside air in the restaurant. What a beautiful touch. The starters were amazing the lumpia Shanghai could have been made by my Lola (if she were a world class chef) the chickpea fritters were a welcome surprise as was the divine tomato jam that came with it.The Brussels sprouts were salty and sweet and I could not stop eating them.As a result I had the poke appetizer for dinner while my dining partner had the BBQ miso chicken. When asking the chef how it came out so moist and crispy he said it was the result of a six hour process. It sure tasted like it.The poke melted in my mouth. We completed the meal with the bread pudding that was out of this world.A world class meal.

Great spot for an elevated but healthy meal. Appropriate for work dinners. Get there early and try a drink at the bar before eating. Great service.

Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful food, wonderful people at Perch for my post- birthday dinner. I'd been waiting for months for the chance to go... it was well worth the wait! Chef Mike Ledesma provided such a warm welcome. His and his servers' hospitality and camaraderie with guests make everyone feel like a VIP- wonderful and refreshing in these post-COVID times when we've all come to expect cold-shoulder service and time limits on our tables. Perch confirmed for us that we have moved on from the pandemic and can have great dining experiences again! And then there's the exceptional cuisine and creative menu..Filipino lumpia, Miso BBQ chicken, whole fish (expertly deboned by our server, Clay), and an espresso trifle later, we were fat and happy. I will be back for the pu pu platter and glazed octopus. Or maybe brunch. Or maybe just to do as their online menu suggests and buy a "round for the house" to thank their kitchen staff.Don't wait for a special occasion to check out Perch. You deserve it now!

The atmosphere alone is worth a visit - really cool bar, multiple seating areas and a great location on the outskirts of Scott's Addition. Very good drink list. Presentation of the food was some of the best I've seen in Richmond, but the taste could have been better. I had the tuna poke bowl and it was good but smothered in sauce so it overshadowed the different tastes of the fish, rice, etc. Will be going back, but likely for a cocktail and not a meal.

The pupu platter is really good and a nice sampler of all their appetizers. The tropical mule is great and made with their homemade tropical ginger beer. Got the duck as an entree and the duck was overcooked but the potatoes and sauce were good
