It was okay but not worth a 45 minute wait. The staff were pleasant but my partner wasn’t able to eat his food unfortunately because it had bell peppers in it which he’s allergic to but the menu didn’t specify that so it had to be sent back.
This is a great little restaurant in Richmond which serves up Jewish breakfast and tasty lunch sandwiches. They are only open until 3:00 p.m. Combination platter, Schnorrer has a little bit of everything... Eggs, bagel with a smear, latke potato cakes and choice of meat and it comes with coffee. Highly recommend it! The Reuben sandwich is also very good here. The Perly patty melt is very good as well. The pastrami here is very tasty and juicy. Sandwiches here are really good since...
Wowwww! The food at Perly's is incredible. We stopped by on our visit to Richmond and after a wait (about an hour), we completely understand the wait. It's well worth it and actually goes by fast with the right person. We ordered the Ruben and the Patty Melt and it was so all so good. The fries are an anomaly, how are they breaded so well and cooked to perfection. This is definitely a must visit.
