Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Richmond (Short Pump)

My wife and I dined at Perry's Steakhouse & Grille in Richmond, located at Short Pump, on Saturday, July 20, 2025 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The ambiance, decor, and food were top tier. Our server Shelby was attentive, professional and overall FANTASTIC! We plan to visit Perry's again when we're in the Richmond area and hopefully Shelby will be our server again.

My wife, who seldom finished an 8 oz steak, pounded the 14 oz strip, stating it was the best steak of her life. Our guests were equally effusive in their compliments. Chantay, our server was an additional bonus, very engaging and helpful. A home run for Perry's Steakhouse, not unlike past visits when we have entertained customers and friends. Paul C 7/20/25

The food was excellent, with the exception of the French Onion soup, way too sweet. A bit too much dressing on the Caesar salad, but the steak and mushrooms were perfect.

Upon checking in, the hostesses were very pleasant, our waitress, Nia was very fun and accommodating, and assured we were given great service. The food was served hot and was delicious. The restaurant is beautiful inside and very modern and clean restrooms. For the quality of the food and the quantity served, we felt the price was right.

Amazing service from when we first walked in the door to leaving. The manager Marcos took great care of us and his suggestions were excellent. Will be back!

This was our first time eating here and we decided to have their special that we saw online. It was 4 for $44 It included appetizers, soup or salad, an entree and dessert. We upgraded the entree to filet mignon for an extra $15. We had the stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer, which were delicious. We both picked the salad with apple and candied pecans. It was a very generous portion and also delicious. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly as requested and I had cheese cake with lemon and he had the flour less chocolate cake which tasted like fudge with homemade whipped cream. Since it was my birthday they also gave another dessert on the house. The service and atmosphere was great

This was a very special birthday evening. The staff very welcoming and provide answers to your questions on the food selections. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and very good. This was my second visit to Perry's and plan to come back again.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself. My guest really enjoyed the service as well as their food, everything was phenomenal.

This was the first time my husband and myself had been there and it was the best food ever!! Definitely will be back.

If you haven't had the opportunity to experience a dining enjoyment at Perry's Steakhouse and Grill, really should make a reservation. This was our fourth visit together with another couple or just the two of us. Each time was quite special.

We loved our dining experience here. The food was prepared to perfection, and not one of the 5 of us who dined here had anything but praise for the food and the service. Our steaks were cooked exactly as we asked, and our server was especially helpful with the selection.

Second visit to Perry's. Filet and salad were delicious! Highly recommend, and if you're 65+ years old, there's a special menu if you get there before 6 PM! 😁

We were in town visiting Univ of Richmond and were looking for a nice place for dinner. After reading other reviews, we decided to try Perry's. We were not disappointed! The ambiance is very nice, the service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! I wish I could remember our waitress' name - she was great!! She helped us pick our appetizer (stuffed mushrooms) as well as our dinners (salmon & sea bass). Thank you for a great experience!

I would have enjoyed it more if my filet had been cooked medium per request. It was well done and very overly salty to the point of about ruining it. Service was great
