This place slaps. The food I had was fantastic. Super fresh. Flavors were incredible. The owner (I'm assuming) was incredible as well. He was very nice. 10/10 would absolutely and will definitely be back here in the future.

We stopped through Richmond en route back to Philly. Like our home city, we were delighted to have so many pho places to choose from. We read all the reviews and chose Pho 79 because someone mentioned the rich bone broth. Pho 79 did not disappoint! Our picky toddler enjoyed some broth in his bottle and when asked how it was said: ‘it’s delish!’ —for the very first time. If that’s not a good recommendation, I don’t know what is :)

Best pho in Richmond! I've tried many of the other pho restaurants in the area, and this is the best by far. It's the only one that passed the broth test: I refrigerated my leftover broth, and it turned gelatinous, which means it's real bone broth (the natural gelatin from the bones in the bone broth turns the broth into a jelly-like consistency when refrigerated).
The broth has great flavor, and there are lots of meat combination options (#9 is my favorite). Bonus points for all the tasty basil they give you to add to your pho. The quail is also very good. The service is fast and friendly as well. And the egg rolls are delicious too; don't miss out on those!

I have been coming here for years and they are still just as great as they were when I started coming. It may not look attractive from the outside but their flavors speak for themselves. They have the best pho in Richmond, hands down!
Had a delicious bowl of pho for lunch tucked in among money trees. Really enjoyed the chilled out atmosphere, and the coffee was a perfect finish

I don’t know why they made this and thought it was okay to serve but I ordered to go and not only does the chicken taste bad but they only gave me the fat and barely any chicken. The rice noodles taste like oil.
