I really liked Pig and Brew. I definitely recommend it. The BBQ ribs and smoked wings were the best. So is their BBQ sauce and cornbread. We loved the collard greens and Cole slaw too. Everything felt homemade and delicious. Portions were generous. They only have one dessert option. But it was absolutely scrumptious. The peach cobbler is a must anytime you come. The service was nice and accommodating. Will definitely go back.
Cons
There were some cons as to why I didn't give it 5 stars. The Mac and cheese was not to my liking. I don't like the grainy texture in Mac and cheese made with egg. The flavor in it was not strong or cheesy enough. And the Brisket, though tender, needed more flavor to me. You couldn't enjoy it without sauce. Also the water glasses were not that clean when we visited. You will have to parallel park too so some people don't like that. But it's downtown so it's to be expected.

This isn't a bad place to try out. The food was well cooked. However, I feel the portions were not enough for what I paid. Some of the staff is young and having fun and conversation with customers, which is fine, but they were too loud with unprofessional language. I love my black people, but when working, we have to be professional.
Drinks were poured strong. The owner is losing money when that happens. The young bartenders should learn the proper pour for mix drinks. This review may sound critical, but P and B has the potential of being one of Richmond's great restaurants.

Food was not good. It was cold, brisket was cold and grayish, wings taste like they were boiled.

Before starting our fast, we decided to treat ourselves and try a restaurant we kept seeing on social media. This family-owned spot did not disappoint, and I love that they prioritize a family-friendly atmosphere.

Our favorite part? Everything! 😂😂 The drinks were amazing, we got a mango mimosa pitcher, and it was so refreshing. The bacon was incredible! I don’t know what brand they use, but it tasted like real country food, the kind you’d find in South Carolina.

The service could have been better, but we went on the first Sunday of the month, so the live DJ playing music helped make the wait more enjoyable. Everything we had was fresh, and even the cook came out to speak with us, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Everything is self-serve, including seating, payment, & menu, which gave me a bit of a throwback to the COVID era.

This place is overrated. Wings were like cardboard without seasoning. Burnt ends were tough, and Coleslaw was runny.

What would I do Jazmine and Shanice as my servers? This is the place you need! Good vibes, good drinks and food on a good time on a Friday! The place you need to be! Smoked wings, shrimp basket (appetizer), cornbread
