Ordered online. Got a text that the food was ready within 5 mins but it was still a long wait for take out. There was 1 bartender and 1 waitress on a busy Friday evening. There was hair in my bag/on top of the take out box. Both order of the Wings I ordered were cold and somewhat undercooked.

This is the worst barbecue place that have ever stepped into. From the outside is lovely and the inside is in theme and done very cutely. My lunch partner and I purchase the three meat Trio. We got wings, ribs and brisket. The wings had to be gnawed off the bone because they were not cooked enough. The ribs were falling off the bone and absolutely tasteless with the worst low-grade barbecue sauce on it that you could imagine. The brisket was dry leathery strips of what appeared to be once a very good piece of meat. I don't believe smoke came anywhere near this meat because I certainly got a strong Liquid Smoke vibe. A use of seasonings as simple as salt and pepper previous to cooking this meat would have been a bonus. My lunch companion is positive that the meat was parboiled and then made to appear as barbecued Meats. She categorized it is waterlogged. $36 for three meats, we still had to buy sides. We chose cornbread and baked beans. The cornbread was mediocre, and the beans were straight out of somebody's low grade can with no additional seasoning or help to make them appear homemade. The service was definitely not with a smile or very courteous. There was no attempt to make this food great. In fact, it was not palatable. We were thoroughly disappointed and won't return or tell anyone else to go here.

The food was delicious but cold with Doordash, probably would be better if it was dine in. Sunday brunch looked and sounded fun wen I went in for a pickup, definitely going back to check that out .

Food was seasoned well and the bones are very easy to pull out. The 20% auto charged tip got me though, like why? And the charging device wanted to get additional tip on top of the 20%

The Mac and cheese, greens and baked beans were so delicious. My husband loved the ribs. I ordered for pickup through the Toast app. Note: The kids sliders is actually only 1 slider and does not come with any sauce. Also note, they add 20% gratuity if through the toast app. I got the brisket. It came with 2 slices. My bottom slice was 90% fat and it was just a tad salty. I will go back again, as it was our family’s first time trying it.

First time eating at this restaurant. Purchased the ribs, green beans and potato salad. The potato salad, was delicious, the green beans, was equally delicious. The ribs, however…were a DISASTER. While they were falling off the bone tender, they were NOT SEASONED. Like, at ALL. The sauce was okay but it couldn’t save those ribs. I think that whoever cooked this batch simply forgot to season them. My daughter had their fried fish sandwich and I ended up going back to get one. Now that sandwich was heavenly! The rib mishap aside, the atmosphere, overall vibe and customer service of the place was excellent. I’ll definitely try it (sans the ribs) again when I return to visit Richmond.

I find the 20% gratitude fee to be rather displeasing. It would be highly beneficial if the automatic gratitude fee were prominently highlighted on the menu. Had I not been cautious, I might have unintentionally tipped twice.

Ordered brisket meal with two sides. The brisket was undercooked, hard to eat and tasteless. I ordered two meals and both were poorly cooked. Literally made me sick.

My husband and I ordered the trio meal. Brisket, ribs, and wings with Mac and cheese and collards. We also added peach cobbler. Everything was delicious. Lastly, we ordered take out and gratuity was added, I've never heard of such, nor did the female taking our order mentioned it to us beforehand. I don't mind tipping when dining in, but tipping just to pick up is crazy. Nevertheless, I'll do it over as long as the food consistency is good. ??

Had a great first experience and can't wait to go back to try more! Hillbilly fries with pulled chicken were hit and fresh and crispy. Prices are very reasonable - this will be my new lunch spot on the south side. Shoutout to my server for being so nice and charming and attentive.
