The food is always fresh and pretty tasty. The people that work there are super cool. The physical space inside is pretty bland.

I visited for first time a few nights ago. The pricing for the food is what it is definitely delicious service was good. The only tiny gripe that I have was that i wanted crab salad but they weirdly only had spicy crab salad.? which is to me a little backward, normally it's standard crab salad. Tho next time I visit I might ask to try the tiniest little bit to see if I like it cuz not everybody likes/ can handle spicy stuff and I hope it's not too overwhelming.

Absolutely the best Poke place I have ever been to. I visit this location at least once a week, sometimes three. Their portions are good, fish is fresh, and variety of toppings/mix-ins are superb. Even amongst the other Poke Sushi Bowl franchise locations, this one is by far the best one (I've been to all of them). The owner/manager is so nice and knows how to make a good Poke bowl. Even when it's not required, he spends extra for the higher quality ingredients that the other locations skimp out on. The imitation crab used in their spicy crab salad and seaweed salad are two examples. This is my #1 choice of fast convenient take-out food in RVA.

I ordered the salmon poke bowl with yellowtail. I had a salad base with cucumbers, hijiki seaweed, Masato, seaweed salad & spicy mayo. Flavors were there, and I wanted more. Only thing is the lack of protein. It's a small scoop.

The salmon is really fresh. Would recommend the ginger wasabi and sesame shoyu sauces mixed together

The fish was very fishy. I ordered extra tuna and there was maybe 2 pieces more. I probably won't get food from here again.

This place is soooo good! And an easy walk from my house in Jackson Ward. It’s like a Subway style poke place where it’s made right in front of you. The price is right and the ingredients are very fresh. I like the create your own with so many options to choose from.

Poke bowls are my obsession and Poke Sushi Bowl is my go-to spot for them. I really enjoy have the build your own option so I can make my mix of what sounds good. You can start with a sushi rice, brown rice, fresh greens, or noodle base. From there, add your protein, sauce, and toppings. I usually pick tofu and shrimp, plenty of veggies, seaweed salad, crispy onions and spicy mayo. However, there are so many choices that you are bound to find the perfect combo for you. If you want something that already curated, they have a few choices that are called Signature Bowls, that sound really tasty. You can order online for pick up or takeout, and you can eat at the restaurant. It's nice & casual with indoor seating.

Pretty good poke spot. They pack those bowls pretty tight so you get a lot of food.

jacob lawrence is tripping. this place is good. James is great and the rest of the staff is great. high quality fish is expensive and if it was cheap you would not want to eat here. the price is reasonable (15-17) and you get fresh ingredients and good sauces.

Having a hard time understanding why it took you 10 minutes to start my customer’s order. Especially when you made 2 pick up orders before mine when no one was there to pick them up. Oh yeah! Because when I said I was here for GH instead of asking who I was here for, you lifted your finger at me and said “In a minute” ??? Thanks for wasting the 10/15 minutes I won’t get back ??

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the weird smell. I thought “I hope that’s not rotting fish.” The second thing I noticed was how dirty the floors were. I decided to give the place a chance anyway because other Poke Sushi Bowl locations I’ve tried have been great (and I also am a people pleaser and didn’t want to offend the staff by leaving). The food tasted great, but we’ll see how my stomach feels tomorrow. Negative bonus points for the toilet being disgusting in the women’s bathroom.

Just want to shout out this great staff - my Uber Eats order was delivered and while walking back to my office my bag broke and the food unfortunately scattered across the sidewalk. I called to say I was ordering again (in case they thought it may be a duplicate order) and told them of my unfortunate circumstance haha.Just received my order with a wonderful note. Thanks for making my Tuesday a little brighter!

My favorite spot in Richmond to get bubble tea despite being on the hellscape that is Broad Street. Take out orders from Doordash are always on point and staff is always friendly when I pop in.
