The ambiance was great as always at Portico. They have one of the best patios in the area. Service was great & the server was attentive. The food was ok, nothing special & arrived just lukewarm. The parking there is a nightmare though. I encountered issues the last time I went but hoped it had improved. They had triple parked pickup trucks behind my car which was in a designated spot. I was unable to get out until another diner came to their car & then the valet guys...
Brunch was great at Portico. I had the brunch special, shrimp and grits, and it was one of the best I have ever had! It was perfectly cooked and prepared a little different from the standard. Our service was good but I had to ask our server for the check as she became very busy with tables. The setting is lovely.
Our server was personable and attentive. The food was delicious (lunch) with reasonable amounts where we were satisfied but not overly stuffed. Two had chicken salad with caprese salad; and one had a caprese sandwich with mushroom soup. We all loved the flavors! Of course, lemoncello creme cake for dessert was the perfect finish!
