I typically frequent Mi Guerrero around the corner but one day decided to switch it up. I have to say the overall cleanliness and appearance of the store is well kept and organized. The owner is bilingual and very accommodating. The store section is a little smaller than the nearby competitors but that's not really a problem since the real reason la victoria shines is the restaurant. The papusas put the other tiendas to shame. The rest of the food is killer too.
Don't sleep on LA VICTORIA.

Terrible customer service, when I go to buy I expect them to treat me with dignity, they treat you as if they are giving you things, very rude, the prices are very high, these people want to take advantage,I was waiting a long time for my order. What does it cost to make 3 pupusas? The owner at all that time was just yelling at the employees, that lady looks like she was spat out by the devil, I don't understand how people work with that poorly educated, despotic and bitter lady, terrible place, apart from that the kitchen looked quite dirty to be honest. It made me sick ?, I don't recommend it if you don't want to ruin your day.

Let's start with HOMEMADE not store bought TORTILLAS!! AND THE TACOS... I cannot strongly enough recommend the steak and pork. Wow! just wow!!
The salsa roja (red) is VERY SPICY! and they didn't have salsa verde (green). Doesn't matter... These are REAL tacos! They are already fantastic.. A little bit of lime and it's perfection.
The parking lot is small but that's ok... So very very good!
Food wasn't bad but definitely not worth the money spent on it

Listen if you want authentic good food then you need to go here! This place is not the normal colonized Mexican food restaurant like Torchy’s Tacos but this is a local authentic Mexican restaurant and store. If you are looking for aesthetics go to the colonized place but if you want delicious hot fresh authentic Mexican food then this is the place to go! The customer service is very good and welcoming! This is a picture of the Gordita so dam good! I will be back to try more!

Changing my review because now that I've gone in there quite a few times the one thing I don't like and I will not go back because of his I get the same thing white rice and beef and it's always a different price and there should be no reason why it would be a little amount that I'm getting that I should be paying almost $20 my buddy comes in with me and he gets charged the same price I don't like the making up the price because of that I shall not does that look like $20 worth of food to anybody come on think about
