Terrible customer service, when I go to buy I expect them to treat me with dignity, they treat you as if they are giving you things, very rude, the prices are very high, these people want to take advantage,I was waiting a long time for my order. What does it cost to make 3 pupusas? The owner at all that time was just yelling at the employees, that lady looks like she was spat out by the devil, I don't understand how people work with that poorly educated, despotic and bitter lady, terrible place, apart from that the kitchen looked quite dirty to be honest. It made me sick ?, I don't recommend it if you don't want to ruin your day.

Listen if you want authentic good food then you need to go here! This place is not the normal colonized Mexican food restaurant like Torchy’s Tacos but this is a local authentic Mexican restaurant and store. If you are looking for aesthetics go to the colonized place but if you want delicious hot fresh authentic Mexican food then this is the place to go! The customer service is very good and welcoming! This is a picture of the Gordita so dam good! I will be back to try more!

Changing my review because now that I've gone in there quite a few times the one thing I don't like and I will not go back because of his I get the same thing white rice and beef and it's always a different price and there should be no reason why it would be a little amount that I'm getting that I should be paying almost $20 my buddy comes in with me and he gets charged the same price I don't like the making up the price because of that I shall not does that look like $20 worth of food to anybody come on think about

I love this place! Me encanta! Todo lo que ofrecen aquí es bien pero bien sabroso! Pero si tienen chanza try the lengua tacos or lengua gorditas!!! ?? that’s my favorite menu item to ask for! Their lengua tastes like barbacoa! It has amazing flavor and texture! I promise it’s delicious! And the staff here is respectful and sweet! They give you a genuine welcome! Every time I come here I try to come with someone new so I can share an amazing restaurant with them. This is one of those locations you want to world to know about because it’s THAT good!

Best Bodega in RVA!!! You get your money's worth and the food is made in a loving way ?? I will be going back soon cause I would like to try out other menu items.

I am a first time customer and cannot wait to return! The meal we ordered was fresh/homemade/DELICIOUS (that yummy hot sauce!), the cantaloupe drink was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS (and will surely get me through the summer heat), I cannot wait to stock up on their frozen bars, and the service was AMAZING even though I communicated poorly. Even fellow customers were helpful and kind! Just a really wonderful atmosphere and vibe all around. Thank you for a truly lovely visit!

Had the Gorditas and sopés with my wife for lunch. Very good and enough left over for dinner. Great meal, I'll be back when I'm in the area to work my way through the menu.
