While the food here is delicious, the service is absolutely excellent. The staff genuinely care for all the guests. I've never felt more welcome in a restaurant. I recommend coming here 10x over.

Interesting pizza shop. Ordered quattro formagio pizza which was very good. Also had a good appetizer. Risotto ball with cheese and chorizo. They do have beer and wine. Order at counter and they bring food over to you. Service was fast and efficient. They do have a parking lot.

The pizza here is fantastic, it's a Napoli style thin crust, easily the best in Richmond. Everything I've had has been good, but I'd recommend the onion tart for something a little different.

Love it, wish they had more specials on multiple pizza purchase, but I cant get enough. Kind hearted people, with courteous/ care for what they do.
Edit: This review is a years after above review. I recently visited this location because my other recent visits the pizza didn’t taste not was the crust the same, but I love them and wanted to try again. Again I got different pepperoni vs the cup I use to get and the crust was soft and had many burned spots. $21.90 for one personal/medium size pizza that isn’t up to the expectation set for years when they were $10 is not worth it. Sorry Good people but the pizza is not even a 7 anymore.

We discovered Pupatella 8 years ago and it remains our FAVORITE Napoli style pizza in Virginia. We've visited at least 5 locations. Always THE BEST quality and flavor. We never leave without getting an extra pizza for the road. When heated according to directions, it's delicious!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Authentic Naples Napoleonic Pizza from the birthplace of pizza. The Margarita pizza which was also born in DePaul was named for princess Margarita Queen of Italy for on a special occasion when she visited the city.
The sauce was some of the best sauce I've ever had. I think the pizza was great and would recommend it and would come again more of pizzas. We also have the arancini which was a rare site on any menu and they were delicious. Highly recommend the arancini with a side of delicious sauce. Pizza was kinda small. It was $15 you definitely taste the quality of the ingredients. Wood fire oven, that's a gem. Cute inside.
A few Beer options and a few red and white wine options. I like how the seating areas are broken up so you have three different vibes.

had never been here before, but decided to try it and am so glad we did. the pizza was amazing! the cheese, sauce, and crust were perfect! the service was great, and the pizza was made quickly! i didn’t even wait five minutes. highly recommend and will definitely be going back.
Wonderful local pizzeria. Napoleatan style! Loved the wonderful Amalfi Salad with grapefruit in it! Pizzas were delicious and the cheese balls outstanding! Super nice staff working there and just a relaxed environment!
Delicious, authentic neapolitan pizza, along with the sausage arancini, it made me feel like I was in an authentic neapolitan pizzeria in Naples, Italy (best pizza ever made). Praise Pupatella Pizzeria, and I'll be back more often. Also, congrats on being certified as pizzaiolo from the Naples Pizza Association, y'all deserved it.
