Was okay. Waitress was okay, not really friendly. I got the chicken, rice and beans. Was basic, better than fast food but lacked the strong Latin flavor I'm used to as a Latino.
This place has the home cooked food of the melting pot NYC. In the cut of Richmond, Dominican flavor ON POINT. The place is quaint but the service and food MUY BUENA. I'LL BE BACK.....
By far they have the best tamales in all of Virginia. If you want to eat like the natives, you're in the right place. The atmosphere is friendly, warm and humble. It's like you are in Guatemala. I went once, the next week I took all my family.
