A few weekends ago, a friend who is moving away (so sad) mentioned that Red Goat was on her Richmond bucket list, so we opted to stop by to grab orders and eat them at Three Notch'd. When we walked in, I ordered on the Toast app on my phone while she used the kiosk. We both ordered caprese pizzanellas, which had bianca pizza as the base with lettuce, mozzarella, and tomatoes on top, with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. While it was very good, I ended up taking the pizza out of the bottom and eating it, followed by the salad. I think it'd be cool if they cut up the pizza slice a bit, as it was a tad awkward. But at the same time, I understand why they don't, as people would probably complain about it getting cold too fast. All told, the pizza was delicious, and I think next time I'd just go for a traditional slice. This is a solid stop in Scott's Addition!

The pepperoni pizza only:I chuckled when I read a review with a picture of what in the reviewers perspective was "separated cheese," listing it as a flaw with the pizza, but ironically what sold me on coming here and trying this devourable pie straight from the streets of the Bronx. Oh I'm in Virginia? I digressI suppose when you're used to low moisture mozzarella coating everything, you would see the pitting of this high quality cheese when heated, as a negative. Some people just love their warm white blankets. Who's to judge, right?Worth the drive from Bon Air!Cheese Pizza:Unlike the pepperoni pizza, the cheese only pizza was a fail. The crust was exceedingly floppy with zero structural integrity. I literally could have rolled it like a taquito. Also, the flavor just wasn't there sans pepperoni, so on my return visits I will indeed get the pepperoni pizza which again is one of the best I've ever had in Richmond, but I'll avoid the cheese only option.

Margherita had a half inch of sauce and hardly any cheese, crust was so wet it fell apart into 5 pieces when I picked up a slice and had to eat it with a fork. Flavor was on point, but that pie needs some work. Maybe I should have tried a plain cheese first.

I get that everyone is having staffing issues but it took way over an hour after the website said thirty minutes. After waiting in my car for thirty minutes past when it was supposed to be ready was told the pizza just went in the oven. Hire more staff or use more realistic times on your ordering system. The girls working the counter were super nice and I felt really bad they had to deal with having no help.

Personally a little bit of grease on pizza is good IMO. But this is WILD levels of grease, so much the crust actually is soggy from it...

Bruh this ain't it. Cheese was broken and grease levels were at an all time high. Dunk it in the watery separated house ranch if you really wanna hate yourself.

Amazing fresh baked to order pizza. Perfect after a night of brewery hopping. Ordering was easy at one of the kiosks and food came out fast. Ate it before we even got in the Uber

After rave reviews from my brother, I decided to order a Supreme Pizza for carry out. When I got home the pizza had no pepperoni, black olives or mushrooms. The sausage was scarce as well. I called the restaurant to inform them about it, they apologized and asked what they could do. I then asked them what they could do to which they told me that could give me some mushrooms and olives.?. I told them I was already home. They deliberated a while and ended up offering me $3 off my pizza. I have to say this was pretty disappointing. I'm not sure how half the toppings are left off a supreme pizza but I definitely thought that such an oversight would have been met with a lot more accommodation. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.10/25/2021-Still haven't received my refund. This restaurant doesn't seem to have integrity.

Bought pizza from here twice, both times in person. First time was absolutely amazing. Crunchy crust and everything tasted so fresh. Second time it took 45 minutes and pizza was somehow lukewarm. Tasted undercooked, bread soft and floppy. Pretty bad in in both appearance and taste. My recent experience makes me reluctant to come back :(

Honestly it was not good. Among other things, the crust was super tough. Tried 2 slices and stopped there.

Super friendly, super efficient, super delicious. This place really nailed all of the fresh oven, thin crust, savory taste ideas that we were searching for in a late night pizza. Looking forward to another visit.

Easily my favorite pizza in Richmond currently, great thin crust new York style pizza. I think they do thicker crust but I haven't had it.

Just genuinely great people with good customer service that take pride in their work of making pizza. They were upfront about a small hole in the pizza and took care of it right off the bat as they weren't happy about the quality. This was my 5th time here and for the price the pizza is great for what it is!

If you can nail a margarita, you can do just about anything. And that’s what Red Goat has done. They perfected their sauce and fresh ingredients from their locally owned garden to elevate simplicity to a new tier. Best Neapolitan style pizza I’ve had in a few years. *chefs kiss*

Walked into Red Goat Pizza tonight for the first time, as the spot was highly recommended by friends. As soon as we walked in we were greeted immediately. Before trying the pizza, I already knew the establishment was my kind of place from the service alone, as they were extremely friendly! Getting straight to what matters, the pizza was by far the best I have ever had in RVA. I highly recommend Red Goat Pizza, for the service, and the pizza. Definitely glad I decided to try it, as I will be a loyal customer going forward.
