Got our order completely wrong, I had to go back in and ask for the side of noodles I ordered. When we got home realized that the chicken hibachi had no chicken in it. The noodles in the side and the noodles in the hibachi tasted completely different. The food that they did manage to cook was bland. When I called multiple times to try to get a refund on the chickenless chicken hibachi they did not answer the phone and there was no voicemail set up so it rang endlessly. Having to dispute the transaction through my bank instead. A ridiculous experience.
The food is great!! I can't complain, highly recommend!!! Jazzed is a great cook and I will only come if she's here!! Must have!!
MISS JAZZMIAN is an amazing chef with a great show. Great personality overall a 10 out of 10. Can't wait to enjoy more of her food. Always get the shrimp rolls, their A1 and always get the chicken bowl. They're amazing
Food is nice and seasoned. Meat is moist. Very appealing and the customer service was great. It's also a black owned business
I popped into this restaurant because I had heard amazing things and I love to support black owned business. If you love all kinds of Asian cuisines and have had them, then this restaurant will disappoint. I 100% say give it a chance. I got a chicken fried rice bowl with spring rolls and s strawberry lemonade. My fried rice was hard and chewy. The chicken tasted like the kind you get in the mall and the vegetables were fine. The springs rolls were not tasteful and greasy. IDK if they were homemade. They tasted like PF Changs frozen to ready spring rolls you get at the grocery store. The strawberry lemonade was pretty good. Winner there but it was almost $5, soooo. The yum yum sauce tasted like big mac sauce as well. Maybe this place was top tier 10/10 when they opened but right now I give them a 5/10. They also didn't have any seating. No ambience. I probably won't go back but definitely give it a shot.
Food was great! Seasoned well, & great portions! I’ll definitely be back, maybe tomorrow! S/o Jazzy B. 🔥🔥🔥
Popped into grab some with my family, was greeted by an employee Jasmine, who was polite and very helpful. Once we placed our order, it didn't take long for her to make it; which was great. Happy first experience there and a special thank you to Jasmine for wonderful service.
The rice is hard. Yall gave me the burnt bottom of the pot rice for 25.00. just ordered
Considering that I read the reviews before I tried this spot, maybe I was hoping upon hope when I decided to try it.
I ordered the Steak and Shrimp with Rice and an egg roll.
Considering that rice is a major part of this dish,(if you choose it as your side/base) I was still surprised to bite and find that the rice was indeed ... Dry & Crunchy.
I'm not sure how that's possible when it's a major part of the meal. Maybe it's my fault for not ordering at lunch and getting the end of day rice. But, I can't say I've ever gotten crunchy rice anywhere that serves rice as a main menu item.
I hope someone sees these consistent complaints and takes them seriously. But, It won't be something I try again anytime soon. I believe we've had enough disappointment this year.

I am writing this review with a heavy heart! As much as I wanted to enjoy a black owned hibachi spot, this was really sad! The food was horrible. I literally paid 22.00 for about 6 slices of thin zucchini and about 6 brocoli florets. It was bad! Chewy shrimp, horrible flavor and the yum yum sauce, tasted like a strange honey mustard. Save your money!

Don’t know what happened since they reopened but I went in today got a chicken hibachi meal today at home only to find that my rice was harder than ever chicken was dry and vegetables soggy and wilted. Their yum yum sauce taste like over seasoned thousand island dressing and when I called to check on my food no answer 3 times. Went into the restaurant directly after to see the guy buried in his phone with no other staff in sight. Do not waste your time or money. If you come I would take of my food immediately to not get duped by the looks and old reviews that seem to say the food is good. It’s not.

I will certainly come back and update this review after another visit. I actually love this place and highly recommend it to anyone who has a taste for hibachi in Richmond, but my most recent experience was not true to previous experiences.
Most recently, my shrimp and steak plate had diced onions spread overtop of my meal. This was unusual and completely threw me off. The steak was overcooked and the rice was undercooked. I was so disappointed. Typically, this meal speaks to my soul, but this time around somebody butchered the standard operating procedure. Never have I ever had diced onions in a hibachi meal. Please correct this. This place is fire on its good days!
