The vibes are great and the space has nice indoor/outdoor functionality. I love going to breweries with my friends, and most have a few non-beer options but there were only two options here and both included things I’m allergic too :( I would’ve given 5 stars if they had even a single wine or canned seltzer options. Thanks for the tiramisu!
(Edit: I have a peach allergy and the only seltzer they had was a peach flavor, so I ordered the NA seltzer )
Great beer and great atmosphere. I love the Poe themed options and, most importantly, go Bills!
Great service, fun vibes!
The edgar is really good. Great atmosphere and good beer. Highly recommend coming here after the Poe Museum
Came for the pop-up tiramisu, fell in love with the tres leches cake.
The people are always great. I have had the beers several times but this was the first time I had the pizza. It was really bad.
Reply to the owner: I am being honest. I didn't say the beers were great. The beers are average, so a 3, and the food is a 1, so I gave a 2. I don't want people to waste their money on the pizza like I did.
If you want better beer and pizza there is Triple Crossing not far away.
The edgar and their seasonal beer were the best ones that we tasted. The cheese hot honey pizza was amazing and the service was great. I bought a 4 pack of edgar to take home.
This is a really good brewery. Their selection is slightly limited, but the quality is not. Their “German” style beers are wonderful. They have lPA’s and sours as well. They’re just not my cup of tea 😉
Love this place. The beer is both creative and brewed to perfection. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty of games and nice vibe inside. Really can’t recommend enough.
Their 4th street horribles beer is amazing!
The staff is amazing as well and quite helpful

Fantastic rotating beer list, with a stalwart few fan faves always on tap. Lots of tvs for watching games and lots of events that bring the community together!
Best brewery in Richmond. Tried their raspberry sour and it was amazing. I go for the psychic horse.
Found this gem while looking for a brewery that was open early on a Sunday, and had food. Mostly indoor seating, but it's a lovely space looking into the brewery. Staff was excellent in explaining the brewery history, the beers and the food. We ordered all the apps and enjoyed them all. Then we got a little creative and ordered the chicken strips to tear up and put on their mushroom pizza, as they don't offer additional proteins or toppings. Both were excellent. Only downfall was parking, but we did see something down the alley that may have been for the brewery.
Me and a bunch of friends and I dropped into Richbrau last night, and we had an amazing experience. We sampled several craft beers, and we loved them all. I recommend the Richbrau lager.
We also got a couple of bar pies. The food was fantastic, and the vibe was chill. Hank, the owner, was there to answer any of our questions. Kylie was also super helpful and made me feel like I was a regular who had been going there for years.
Great spot, highly recommend.
The beer is excellent.
The staff is warm and kind.
The décor is rustically charming.
In a world with too many beers that are hop-monsters or ABV queens, Richbrau's beer offerings are stunningly balanced. Whether their style of beer is to your liking or not (it is definitely to mine), you will respect the products. They make interesting beer. If I lived in closer than 100 miles, this would be a regular joint for me.
The DDH Dapper Thief DIPA is on my short list of most interesting beers I have had all year.
