This place is everything you want in a dive bar, any of the bad reviews come from people who have been tossed out of the place for acting up . It’s a 4.7 out of 5. Only real problem is probably the location and you could easily argue that’s one of the benefits to the joint ! great staff , great owner and overall its a great place to meet people !

Excellent local bar while in Henrico County. Absolutely loved the people and owner Lee and family. Saturday night is a must, live music with The extremely talented Micheal Corley (The Piano Man). He plays requests from behind a keyboard...soo AWESOME if you like to sing along . I love this bar...my only dream requests would be to have steak and steamers on the menu and hot smiling, loving, bubblie chick's behind the bar. But hey! Dreams do come ? true, heaven is at hand, and some day my hope is to see BIG FOOT ramble on in half toasted from Philly to sing along with the Piano Man and his friends... ?
This is a great dive bar. I've been coming here for almost a year. I've met all types of amazing people here. The food is decent, and the drinks are cheap, but I think the star of the show is karaoke night. The KJ Sheri is a beautiful person, and very good at her job. The only downside of this place is part of the staff. Joyce is a good bartender, but the other bartender Cullen is the opposite. He's very forgetful. Usually I wouldn't mind that so much, but he's so rude. I'm really starting to think it's possible he doesn't like me, or views me as lesser, because sometimes I'll see him be very nice towards other people, but everytime i interact with him i feel bad honestly. Oftentimes when I want to order a drink at the bar, it will take forever because he'll see me, and either act like I'm not there, or help someone first, even though I had been waiting there before them. He also never says "how are you" when I say it, nor does he ever say "you're welcome " yet i hear him say it to others. Maybe I'm being sensitive, but either way his customer service is definitely lacking. I hate having to say something negative, because I love this bar. The owner Lee is such a nice person, and has definitely seen me go through some stuff lol Despite Cullen being a terrible bartender, I would still recommend trying this place out. The scene is very relaxed, and Karaoke night on Thursday is always a blast.
