We love this restaurant in the charming and diverse Jackson Ward neighborhood. The cocktails are potent and delicious and the food very good. Bonus points that they are open on Sunday nights. Cannot wait to go back for the bone marrow and also the crab salad. Excellent!

My husband and I visited Saison at the recommendation of a local bar tender. We had to sit at the bar because the restaurant was fully booked. The atmosphere is relaxed and charming inside and out. The bar tenders were knowledgeable and courteous when helping us make our selections for food and drinks. My duck with kale and couscous was perfect! I would definitely come back again!

Dinner here was a slightly underwhelming experience. The quality of the dishes was super variable. The burrata was wonderful but the squash was almost inedible for me. The salmon crudo was spot on, loved the jalapeños in it, but the fruit salad and it's celery just didn't work well. For the food its worth stopping by, and the restaurant has a cute intimate atmosphere. The service though really brought down the experience. Forgotten dishes, water always empty, relative indifference to our enjoyment, etc. Normally I wouldn't mind, but it actively wore on us to the point where it soured the night.

Cute little place- my ideal type of place to eat for a nice meal, especially visiting a new city. They didn’t have any tables, but we sat at the bar, which is good for us. I got the eggplant hero which was great. My partner got the salmon crudo, shrimp toast, and burrata. He said it was all good, especially the freshness of the crudo. Pretty good wine selection, could have more by the glass. I got the olive oil washed cocktail and it was okay. The service was a bit weird, but we were at the bar, so it’s okay.

We ate at Saison on 9/4/22. Service was slow and we received an appetizer we didn’t order and the waitress didn’t bring a cocktail we ordered.Inattentive waitstaff aside, our small plates were good. However for our mains, my date ordered the salmon which was undercooked. I ordered the pork schnitzel. The waitress warned that it was fatty, which is not an obvious red flag. However this cut of meat was overcooked (dark brown) and over 90 percent fat. I gave up on trying to hunt out the lean pieces of meat and left a mess of chewed up fat on the plate. Do not recommend.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The meal was fine, but the service was truly some of the worst I've ever experienced. Our waitress was incredibly rude and unwelcoming; by the time we placed our order, I was wondering what we had done to personally offend her. Our whole meal was very rushed--the check was delivered at the 50-minute mark and our plates were cleared, despite the fact that we were only halfway through our last dish. We used the online checkout system to pay, then stayed another 10 minutes to finish our cocktails (which were still 40% full). At that point, our waitress reappeared and strongly implied that we were inconveniencing her by not having put our card down yet. We informed her that we had paid online, as per the instructions on our bill, and she walked away abruptly. We left immediately, drinks still unfinished, despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't closing anytime soon and no other patrons needed to be seated at our table. The entire experience was highly unpleasant. If you're hoping to have a nice night out, book a table literally anywhere else.

Had a great experience at Saison last night. It was my first time and won't be my last. They have a wide selection of drinks as well as NA drinks. I got a strawberry gin cocktail which was tasty. The eggplant dip appetizer was delicious and I loved the presentation. The saison burger hit the spot and the fries were great too. My friend also loves her meal and drinks. Definitely enjoyed my time at this restaurant. Also, the server was friendly and very knowledgeable about everything we ordered. Can't wait to come back!
A great spot for a delicious triple birthday dinner! We ordered a variety of small plates -- foie gras, melon salad, beef tartare and (not pictured) corn salad and burrata -- and the smash burger and everything was stellar. The service was great...the cocktails were fabulous...even the bathroom was a fun experience with assorted temporary tattoos to mark the occasion. I look forward to visiting again soon and trying more of the menu!

Cannot say enough good things about this spot! The restaurant itself is small but allows for such a great personal experience from the warm and caring staff. We ordered a couple cocktails which came beautifully adorned with fresh seasonal flowers and fresh garnishments. The food was fantastic and included fresh vegetables (the fresh tomatoes were wonderful) that beautifully accentuated every dish we were served. We sat at the bar and were very well taken care of. Me and my husband both felt very well taken care of and would definitely come back and recommend this spot for a nice, intimate dinner.

Call foods and drinks with great flavor combinations in presentation. Service was just OK. We were a party of eight and it felt like we were interrupting their own social hour within the staff. Would not return with so many other options in the area.
