If you like Hibachi then you can't go wrong with Sakura. I'm always pleased with my meal when I go regardless of the location. I always get the chicken & shrimp combo. The food was seasoned really good at the Henrico, Virginia location.

We liked coming here until today. We had the worse experience at this place today we tried calling to see if we could reserve and the guy said that they didn’t do reservations, but he was taking reservations for other people. We walked in and was super rude to us he wouldn’t sit us down just because ONE person of our party was still outside parking his car. Also, told us to get the hell out and tried to intimidate us by saying he was going to call the cops on us when we didn’t do anything! He was also, pretty races because he treated other people differently. We don't plan on coming back to this place ever again.

Horrible experience. We celebrated my grandson's birthday I will never recommend this restaurant because the overall experience was despicable. No care, horrendous smell, low energy, dark atmosphere, and no attention to detail. We had to pay extra for a birthday song for a 10 year old child! Sad! Please save your money and patronize an establishment that provides outstanding customer service.
Hands down the best Hibachi restaurant in the area. I usually eat here once a month traveling from Newport News! Great atmosphere and even better staff A+!

We had a wonderful experience at Sakura last night. We usually go to a different spot in short pump but they had a wait so Sakura fit us in for a last minute reservation for 7 people. We had a much better experience there!! The food was delicious, our kids loved the show, and it felt calm in there. Most notably, our server Troy was the best I’ve had in a LONG time. So attentive and helpful. Our son had a health issue and he was incredibly kind and caring about it. In todays world there aren’t many Troys! We will definitely be going back!
