This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised to see they have $7.99 salad Mondays (normally $10.49) which was great to see! Had the delicious Southwest Chipotle salad which comes with a roll. Easy lunch place for a fast casual restaurant. Coming back for another salad Monday!

My friend and I decided to give this place a shot as we are making our way around to all of the bowl places in the area for lunch. We dined in at 130 yesterday afternoon. The place was completely empty, which is somewhat of a tell .. But anyway, the dining room is spacious, lots of seating options. The gentleman who made our bowls wasn't that friendly but the gal who rang us up was super nice and personable. I got the farmers market salad and my gf got the Cobb. Both salads look NOTHING like the menu photos. The salad toppings are minuscule, the squash, turkey, grapes were even cut in half and not whole as in the photo, avocado, chicken. My friend wondered why hers was called an avocado Cobb when there was barely any avocado but a serious amount of egg. The salads are small portions compared to their competitors so you're not getting much bang for your buck here. If they hadn't given us rolls along with our salads we would've left hungry. On top of that, I had to pick out several pieces of lettuce that had gone bad from my salad. I really wanted to like this place bc I LOVE a good salad but she and I both agree we wouldn't go again. There are too many other places nearby that are similarly priced and offer a hearty, better prepared meal (Mezah, Roots, Chopt, Cava, Jason's deli, you get the point).

Great food when they are open! However, for the last three times that we attempted to visit during business hours posted on their website and google profile, it is CLOSED. I mean the business was pitch black dark as if they closed 1 - 2 hours before 6pm and we got there at 5:15pm. Which sucks when you plan to have their food for dinner that evening. Please update the hours on the website to avoid disappointing future patrons.

I was not impressed by my first take out/visit to Salad Works. There was barely any cheese on my salad, the bacon was completely raw and I had to pick it all off, the portion size was small, and I was just not impressed by the taste/appearance of it. It was $12 plus tip etc. Lettuce is so cheap, so to pay this I want a good portion of what I ordered and cooked bacon. I'd rather go to Chopt instead, which was amazing

I've been to this location and the now closed Short Pump location many times. I used to really enjoy coming here on my lunch break. Let me also say that I've supported this restaurant all through the past two years when times weren't normal. I've gotten carry out on multiple occasions, and I've also ordered a number of times from the food truck.Unfortunately since during and after COVID I've just had way too many experiences where I've felt unwelcomed. There is always plenty of seating inside, but during my visit today during lunch there was not one person inside. In other recent visits the place has also been basically empty. The staff to me are the restaurant's biggest problem. They literally make customers feel like they are a burden as soon as you walk in the door. There is never anyone one working up front when you enter, instead they always come out from the back giving you the impression you've interrupted whatever they were just doing doing. Tik Tok maybe?? After you order, while one person prepares your meal the other is already ringing you up at the register and hollering the total down the line to you while you are still in the process of your order with the other person. Today, as well as every other recent visit, instead of ever being asked if you're eating in or if you want your order to go, it just gets put in a bag in a to go container. Basically they're like "ok, here's your salad now please leave." That was not said obviously, just the vibe they give you. I ate my meal in the car, and honestly the ambience was better. Maybe it had to do with the fact that I'm not wearing a mask anymore, especially in a completely empty restaurant, that the masked, self-righteous woke staff feel the need to ostracize me every time I come in there? Aren't we beyond that level ridiculousness?Regarding the food, it was ok, and I'll give the food one extra star. I mean its hard to screw anything up if it has bacon on it...even a salad, right? I am, however, amazed that a restaurant featuring salads doesn't have romaine lettuce as an option for greens. Lastly, I'll say that I don't need a response asking for another chance. Scrolling through the reviews I've seen a lot of that. Truth is that I've given a lot of chances already and this review should have been left six visits ago. I'll wish the ownership best of luck. I don't want to see this business close like they had to do with the Short Pump location, regardless of whether I patronize them again or not. I think the current staff representing the company are doing it a great disservice.

I really like this place. When I'm in the mood for good salad, I come here. They give ample portions and all their ingredients and salads are fresh. Salads are prepared in front of the costumer. I haven't been disappointed yet. A little pricey but well worth it. A clean, pleasant no thrills atmosphere. Parking can be a little tight and limited around lunch time.
