My wife grew up not too far from here, and when she was a kid, she said they came to Sal's all the time. Although not sure when but she said that they have definitely changed ownership since she's been here last. She really wanted one of their cheese pizzas. Even though it wasn't as she remembered and a little different, she said that it was still pretty good. She said that the sauce is a tad sweeter now than what it used to be. I thought their veal parmesan was excellent! I don't know why, but my daughter ended up ordering their chicken noodle soup, but she didn't care for it very much. She did enjoy the mozzarella sticks, though. Service was pretty good, and it definitely has a mom and pop feel to it, and it looks like they have a new bar area that seems to be the new in fashion glowing lights and such. They have quite a few specials that are going on. Very solid pizza place.

We had a large group and spontaneously went to Sal's on a Sunday afternoon. Long time establishment. We met the owner and she created space for our group of 12. She was absolutely delightful. Everyone commented the food was good and hot. I had a steak and cheese and shared french fries with a table mate. Tables are set up with plexiglass over top of tablecloths. My only negative was that the tablecloth on my table needed to cleaned. I would go back to try other items on the menu and to say hello to the owner again. Adequate parking. :)

We ordered 4 pizzas and bread sticks to go. The food was really good and they were all generously topped. They were ready by the time I got there and I was able to check out quickly. Will absolutely be back!

I very rarely write reviews-- but OMG, this pizza is AMAZING! Soft, gooey cheesy, doughy, melt in your mouth slice of heaven! And I'm a NYer where we have the best pizza, so that's saying a LOT! Try it, you'll be glad you did :)

Beware price gouging. These prices listed are 45% less than they charge you. Argumentative, claiming this is Google that put all this up here that they have no control over it and it’s not their fault false advertising. I have been going to this restaurant for over 12 years. The deceased owner was a terrific man and it’s been going downhill ever since he passed his wife has become very greedy and not customer friendly.
