Went on October 13, 2025 around 7pm.
The workers were kind and helpful with their recommendations. I ordered the s’mores and my three year old son ordered the apple crisp. We headed across the street to Scuffletown Park to enjoy our ice cream, where my son immediately dropped his entire ice cream cone while situating himself at a picnic table. We then trekked back to Scoop, ready to pay for a new cone, but were gifted a free one on the house after we explained why we were back so soon. We then made our way back to the park and thoroughly enjoyed our ice cream. The s’mores had the perfect blend of flavors and textures that you would expect from a gooey s’mores treat, and the apple crisp tasted like a fresh baked apple crisp melting a bed of vanilla ice cream. We had to head back to scoop to pick up ice cream “to go” for mom. We were halfway down the block on our way to the car with mom’s ice cream when one of the workers caught up to us with my son’s water bottle that we left in the store. We thanked him kindly for returning the forgotten bottle.
The ice cream was phenomenal but the service was beyond outstanding. We will be repeat customers for sure!

Stopped by here for a sweet treat after dinner and wow, this place is incredible! We tried a few samples of their flavors before settling on triple berry cobbler, and it was some of the most delightful ice cream I've ever had. The shop was very cute and the employees were all super friendly, great vibes across the board. Absolutely worth checking this place out!

I looked up your shop on Google and saw on Yelp that it’s supposed to be dog-friendly. I waited in line for quite a while, and when I got to the counter, a short-haired girl gave me a sour look and told me “service dogs only, but I can do you a favor—just make it quick.”
I’m a regular customer and was excited to try some of the new flavors, but her attitude really ruined the experience for me. The online information about being dog-friendly clearly doesn’t match the reality, and it’s not my fault—I just felt judged by her expression, which was very unpleasant.
I’ve been to this shop over 10 times before, and it’s disappointing to see that the moment it became popular, the service attitude seems to have dropped. I won’t be coming back in the future.

So many choices. We did the cup, mint chocolate chip, berry cobbler, double double chocolate and honey comb. People could be seen in their cars, sitting out front, leaning against shaded building walls enjoying a moment of Summer in RVA.
