We truly enjoyed our meal last night- it smelled fantastic & was even better than expected. I couldn’t get it in fast enough. Don’t sleep on the little salad that comes with/platters. Delightful surprise! We will be back often.

TL;DR: very flavorful food, friendly service. Must visit more than once. I got the chicken kebab over rice, and my friends got the chicken shawarma with saj bread, and falafels. We all loved our food. The falafels were crisp, chicken was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. Also got some hummus and salad on the side, which balanced the flavors really well. The host was friendly, and helped answer our questions.

I'm so glad Scott's Shawarma moved even closer to me because I was meaning to try them for a minute and then read they were moving to a new location on N. Robinson St. OMG, the food is phenomenal! Tender and well-seasoned shawarma and oh so plentiful. One thing that also stands out is their little side salad there. They let you add pickled turnips, pickled cucumbers onion tomatoes and cabbage to the lettuce, which makes an amazing salad. The hummus is amazing and I highly recommend adding the spicy garlic sauce, hot sauce and their signature white sauce to your meats! Not to mention, I really appreciate how much love goes into preparing a to-go order here. They don't throw the food in there all haphazardly and send you on your way. It is done with a meticulousness I can appreciate. The food is just delicious. Just run over there hungry, I beg of you. One of the yummiest restaurants in Richmond that we are sure lucky to have!

Do yourself a favor and eat here. More than once. I had the falafel platter over rice with a side of baba ghanoush and spicy garlic sauce. 1) the serving was bountiful. 2) I have never had rice this fluffy and flavorful 3) The falafel was crispy and delicious- dipped in the house made spicy garlic sauce made them extraordinary 4) the side salad and hummus that came with the plate offered the perfect balance of complementing textures and flavors. The only thing I have to complain about here is my belly not being big enough to eat the entire meal. Oh well, that just means I have a tasty treat for later on. parking and seating are limited but you will find yourself not caring if you have to wait. Just do it.

Don't be confused - This is the original Scott's Shawarma that is used to be a convenience store in Scott's Addition. This location is wonderful and the food is exactly what has made this place the best place for shawarma in the city. This new location has good seating and is incredibly clean. Also, as always, they have some of the best falafel you can hope to find in Richmond. The prices are reasonable, the portions are big, and the service is great. I can't recommend a place more than Scott's and a great addition to downtown!
I visited on a Sunday evening expecting it not to be as busy as it was. The line was out of the building. They seemed overwhelmed but still staffed properly. This was my first time and had read many reviews about the chicken swarma and went all out with everything on it. To my surprise when I got home and tasted the sandwich; the chicken lacked flavor and it wasn't anything special to me. Just a regular chicken sandwich in pita. I'm going to give it another try because I think they were overwhelmed with the crowd but it has to be something special if the line was out the door?! Parking also sucks around the location so be prepared.

We love Scott's shawarma, one of the best and most underrated places in RVA! The food is always fresh and the meat is always tender and juicy. Their signature white sauce is to die for. We do take outs at least twice a month from here. The owner is very warm and welcoming and their service is great. They just moved to a new place which is very cute and cozy. I'm excited that they now have their own place!
