I am a 4th generation local and usually don't venture down to the Oceanfront, but the lure of their nightly specials changed my mind. Additionally, I have recommended 21st St Seafood to thousands through my platforms. I can no longer recommend this establishment Last night, I met a friend and business colleague for dinner. Our waitress, Ashley, was pleasant. When she brought our check (for a party of 2) The tip was in the body of the ticket and the usual three boxes for tip selection were below. When I asked about the tip, she looked a little disappointed and said "Yes, it is already on there". I have, and I assume many, many others, have been double tipping all along. Also, a small "non cash payment charge" was added. It was a small amount, but it was the principle. It should have been disclosed, and I should have been presented an option. I would have gladly paid cash. To top it all off, the debit card I used was compromised and 10 fraudulent charges appeared. After calling the bank and shutting down my card, I called 21st St to advise them of the probable data/ employee security breach. A Manager named Debbie promptly returned my call. I also asked about the non disclosure of the tip already being included to which she replied "It is posted on our hostess stand." Who reads that before a meal? We never even WENT to the hostess stand! Unsuspecting diners have fallen victim to this as well. Having been a General Manager myself for decades, I realize that a policy change of this nature would go through the Owner. I asked for a return call from the Owner and also their accounting person. I was promised that I would receive a call "within the hour". It has been going on three. Hence, this review. If it was not to happen as promised, AT LEAST, a courtesy call should have been made from the Manager that I spoke to inform me of a delay. All I can do is assume the worst. That I have been dismissed, or forgotten. By the misleading policies, the confusing bills and lack of follow up. They have spoken. Now, so will I. Let the court of public opinion commence
I order all you can eat crabs, served 5, then told there were no more carbs available, but still had to pay 1/2 price. I didn't eat 1/2 of all you can eat. they refused to take the full charge off the bill. This was a scam, they knew when I ordered they didn't have enough crabs left and should have told me this when I ordered.
My friends an I went to Va Beach for the weekend and decided to try this place out. We loved it so much we came back the next day before we left to head back home. Our server Cheyenne was AMAZING! We had a party of 10 and she handled it without a single issue. She was very attentive and we never had to want for anything as she was on top of everything. We had the All You Can Eat Shrimp and it was absolutely delicious, then came back for All You Can Eat Crab Legs & Hush Puppies. The flavor was on point for everything and the drinks were delicious! We loved Cheyenne so much that we all gave her an additional tip on top of the already included gratuity because she deserved it. I know where we will be eating on our next visit and surely will request that sweet ray of sunshine Cheyenne again.

3 stars and going down bought engine from them from Pensacola fl. With under 3700 miles. They substituted engine from Indiana with at least 6500 miles on by looking at plug wear called them. Claimed engine I ordered was defective broken torque converter. I said that's not an engine part but a transmission part. Negotiated a refund for bait and switch motor not what I paid for. Good thing I made them email me the details on first engine with under 3700 miles. Since then still waiting on refund am about ready to contact attorney general about them.
Bought a car today for my girlfriend. On the way home it overheated and left me stranded. Shady business do not deal with them. Claims there were no known issues. She has no transportation for work and I’m down $4100. I gave him a chance to make it right and he did not. Will be taking this matter to court
